“Florals for spring, hmm, groundbreaking.” You must be living under rock not to recognize that iconic line uttered by Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) in “The Devil Wears Prada.” Though Miranda Priestly was being sarcastic and throwing shade in the film, florals for spring, when done the right way, can bring a new energy and freshness to any spring/summer style.
Founded in 2018, in Los Angeles, Mia Becar is an American brand led by Founder and Creative director Betzabe Gonzalez. Each collection reflects Betsy’s love of exotic colors, bold silhouettes, the travel that inspires her and her passion for artisanal traditions and techniques.

For spring/summer 2020 Betzabe Gonzalez looked to florals that one might find traditional floral carpets created at Italy’s Infiorata festivals. Gonzalez turned this inspiration into two styles, a slingback and sandal featuring exquisite woven embroideries. These two styles would great with a night out on the town ensemble, or works just a well for a daytime look, paired with denim slacks, denim jumpsuit or a wide range of daytime looks. These floral-embroidered shoes will elevate any daytime look.
