Creative director Amsale Aberra incorporated organza floral bows in the back of some the gowns—an embellishment that popped in some of Amsale’s other fall 2014 collections—that added an extra whimsy that though may have come across as a little cheeky, still did not go over the edge and diminish the collection. Amsale’s strong focus on airy silhouettes, intricate detailing, ruched bodices, hand-crafted silk flowers, and refined lace hems keep this collection solidly in the realm of romantic whimsy.
