Home decor icon Jonathan Adler will be merging his presence into a completely different demographic, cosmetics. Adler is partnering with bareMinerals for a limited edition  cosmetic set, Happiness by Design.

“It’s intended to evoke the promise that both brands distinctly and consistently make to their customers: that every single product we create should make your life better, easier, cooler, way more interesting, way more entertaining… or in one word, happier,” says Leslie Blodgett, bareMinerals founder.

The limited holiday set will include an oversized version of the beauty brand’s original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15 and a Handy Buki Brush.

The design guru’s chevron pattern in pink set will be available in select retailers in February for $60.

H&M Goes Eco-Friendly

Remember the eco-friendly red carpet line H&M launched back in April? Well, they are at it again, except this time the company will tacklen the challenge of textile waste. At 48 global H&M market locations you will be able to recycle unwanted clothes in exchange for H&M discount vouchers to use in their retail stores. The clothes will then be taken by I:Collection, a partner of H&M, which will enable the garments to be reprocessed and reused.

“Our sustainability efforts are rooted in a dedication to social and environmental responsibility. We want to do good for the environment, which is why we are now offering our customers a convenient solution: to be able to leave their worn out or defective garments with H&M,” states H&M’s CEO Karl-Johan Persson.

Starting in February, H&M will begin collecting unwanted clothes in many of their global stores. It will be the first store to ever roll out a collecting event worldwide.
