Did you know that supermodel Pat Cleveland has a daughter that has followed in her footsteps? In case you didn’t, Anna Cleveland, Pat Cleveland’s daughter has been gaining market traction in recent years by walking in shows for Jean-Paul Gaultier, Bottega Veneta, Missoni, Moschino, Jeremy Scott, Vionnet, Carolina Herrera, Zac Posen, and many others.
Anna Cleveland made news recently by being sued by All In The Works LLC (AITW) for breaching her contract on a documentary film following her life and career. She is being sued for $350,000.
According to a complaint filed in the U.S. District for the Southern District of New York, AITW is suing Cleveland for ignoring the contract and stopping to film the documentary for which AITW had “exclusive rights to exclusive motion picture, television and related rights in her life story in furtherance of the creation by AITW of a documentary film concerning her.” Cleveland also agreed to “to be available to AITW during all option periods, to be interviewed on camera in connection with the production, assist AITW in obtaining the on-camera appearances of various third parties, and otherwise consult with AITW,” as detailed in a fashionnetwork.com article.
The lawsuit contends that Cleveland did not make herself available for filming, particularly during the month of September because of her fashion week obligations. This footage was to be a key component of the documentary film. Cleveland had begun filming in early 2016.
