To Audrey with love
Audrey Hepburn’s relationship with the iconic Hubert de Givenchy began in 1953 and continued until her untimely death. To commemorate their unique relationship the Gemeentemuseum in Den Haag, The Netherlands, has produced the exhibit “Givenchy: To Audrey, with Love.”
Several of the couture pieces in the exhibit have been curated by Hubert de Givenchy himself and have never been seen by the public. Audrey Hepburn once said, “Givenchy’s clothes are the only ones I feel myself in. He is more than a designer, he is a creator of personality.”
Givenchy dressed Hepburn for “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “How to Steal a Million.”
