Andrew Kwon Spring 2027

It’s rare for a collection to weave elegance and femininity into the clothing at such a pristine level. Andrew Kwon has mastered the art of exploring beauty and movement poetically while exuding wonder. Fusing the artistry of bridalwear and eveningwear, this collection takes a fluorescent approach with fabrics.

With the show in a fitting setting at St. Bartholomew’s Church on Park Avenue, the collection brings life to the runway in serene grandeur. This season’s collection, SÉRAPHINE, translates meadows, still lakes, and shifting light into silhouettes that appear to float around the body.

Fluid gowns and sculpted corsetry are balanced by sweeping trains, hooded drapes, cape-like sleeves, and cascading layers. Sheer panels and architectural cutouts reveal the body with subtle sensuality, while the contrast between closely fitted and expansive forms creates movement throughout the collection. Nature emerges through dimensional flowers, delicate embroidery, lace, beading, and crystals that trail asymmetrically across bodices, sleeves, and skirts, as though growing across the garments themselves. Airy, diaphanous gowns are contrasted by dark lace, precise construction, and richly embellished, body-skimming silhouettes.

The palette shifts from warm champagne, blush, faded rose, celadon, and watery blue into violet and midnight blue. Atmospheric gradients reflect the changing light of the landscape, while pearlescent surfaces and crystal elements catch the light like water and dew. Kwon launched his eponymous label with a heartfelt mission: to create gowns that give women their own magical, transformative moments. Named for its celestial and distinctly feminine quality, SÉRAPHINE forms a bond of romance and sensuality with the earthly and the otherworldly.
