For spring 2027 Cyril Verdavainne creative director of VERDAVAINNE looked to his customer, or in other words his woman in bloom. True to form, this luxury brand always creates garments that have a wide appeal to that consumer that wants luxury in bold prints and sculptural silhouettes that fit that consumer at every jointure of her day. This collection was not disappointing!!
This spring 2027 collection continues the brand’s exploration of its signature language of print, color, and sculptural form, introducing fresh interpretations of the house’s distinctive aesthetic. “This collection is about a woman in full bloom, confident in color, at ease in her own silhouette. I wanted every print to feel like it was painted just for her and every waist to feel like it was cinched by hand. That’s the difference between a dress and a VERDAVAINNE,” explained Cyril Verdavainne.

The collection started with some very classic, and well-made swimwear in bold colors, quickly morphing into the ‘ladies who lunch’ garments that the brand has become known for. And this is not the ‘ladies who lunch’ of the Truman Capote’s 1960s Swans, but of the modern distinction where consumers are not so perfectly coiffed and maintained, leaning more toward how modern consumers live their lives, needing more freedom of movement.
This collection is solidly in the category for those women who still really care about how they look and how they present in the world, but on their own terms. They are not dressing for a partner or even their girlfriends, but for how they choose to express themselves.
