Song Jung Wan Spring 2027

For this collection, Son Jung Wan doesn’t reinvent, but redefines what it means to be “Ever Becoming.” The show embodies a reflection on the continuous evolution of the brand and an ongoing journey connecting past, present, and future. Drawing on Son Jung Wan’s legacy and design philosophy, the collection finds beauty not in a set destination, but in the cycle of growth and change. Each season becomes a step toward the next period, celebrating the brand’s legacy while embracing the ambition, confidence, and forward momentum shaping its future as a global fashion house.

The season’s color story outlines that evolution through Aqua Cade, Raw Milk, Purple Haze, and Fiery Red. Aqua Cade symbolizes vitality, optimism, and new possibilities, while Raw Milk echoes pure beginnings and the foundation of the brand’s heritage. Purple Haze brings emotional depth and creative energy to the present, and Fiery Red looks ahead with passion and a rebellious, pioneering spirit. Together, the palette reinterprets elements of the Son Jung Wan archive through a modernized surreal lens.

Teeming with emotion, texture, and fabrication continue to bring the concept to life. Liquid silk introduces soft luster and fluid movement, while transparent layers of sheer luxury evoke the overlapping dimensions of past, present, and future. Cut jacquard lace adds intricate, three-dimensional craftsmanship rooted in the designer’s heritage, contrasted by dynamic cut fringe that captures a sense of continuous motion. High-gloss patent leather completes the collection with a bold expression of confidence and forward-looking fearlessness.

This collection isn’t style with a storyline, but style within a perpetual state of blossoming growth.  Taking the fabrics that held expression from the past to a fearless step into a future of wonders, this collection manages to be present on the runway.
