From the moment guests arrived, the spectacle was undeniable. The hotel’s grand entrance became a stage for the Earth Harp, a dramatic string instrument stretched across the property, paired with immersive projections dancing across the historic façade. Inside, the legendary lobby set the tone for old-world glamour, featuring intricate ice sculptures and a 35-piece Philharmonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico performing beloved classics infused with Latin rhythms. In a deliberate nod to presence over posting, the couple requested an “unplugged” experience, ensuring guests were fully immersed in the moment.
The night reached headline-making heights with surprise performances by Marc Anthony and Ricky Martin. The pop duo’s electrifying sets turned the celebration into a private, stadium-worthy concert, keeping the crowd on its feet well into the night. Outside, a choreographed drone show illuminated the Caribbean sky, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that segued into a birthday cake presentation honoring Dr. Alvarez-Westwood.

As the evening evolved, two DJs and a final performance by Miami artist Robby Elias carried the party into the early hours. Guests flowed effortlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces, sipping signature cocktails, enjoying late-night bites, and taking in views of palm-lined pools and the shoreline beyond.
Fashion was front and center throughout the night. Dr. Alvarez-Westwood stunned in couture looks by Parisian designer Zuhair Murad and Puerto Rican designer Gustavo Arango, with beauty by hairstylist Eddy Scudo and makeup artist Hung Vanngo. As a final stylish touch, guests departed with Don Q Gran Reserva Añejo Rum from her hometown of Ponce and artisanal chocolates from Montadero, an elegant close to a night defined by love, luxury, and star power.
