Best Looks from the 2024 NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet

The 2024 Academy Awards might be over, but Awards Season continues. And the 2024 NAACP Image Awards proves that, especially with the great red carpet that accompanied the award ceremony.

Hosted by Queen Latifah there was a lot of conversation about pay equity and inclusion. Still, for Fashion Reverie, the highlight of the 2024 NAACP Image Awards was what some of our favorite celebs wore for this ceremony.

Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah was a very good host. And she really looked like the host of this event in Harbison Studio.

Misty Copeland

Misty Copeland always looks great on the runway.  After all, she is a prima ballerina with all the tautness and tone that comes with a dancer’s body. Copeland brought a unique look to the 2024 Image Award’s red carpet in a Dolce & Gabbana outfit, featuring an unbuttoned, popped color top.

Taraji P. Henson

Who would guess that Taraji P. Henson is 54 years old? She still shows out on the red carpet with sass and sexiness. Henson was that and everything in a Del Core pale yellow gown.

Keke Palmer

Only a very secure and sophisticated woman can wear an outfit intended for a man and still evoke sensuality and strength at the same time. Keke Palmer does just that in Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo.

Usher

Fashion Reverie never leaves the men out of our red-carpet roundups.  Usher brings sexy back in a way that only he can bring in a black LaQuan Smith silk suit with flare-legged pants.

Kerry Washington

Very few celebs can pull off green on a red carpet. That said, Kerry Washington not only looks great in green; she stuns in a green Vivienne Westwood with green scarf train.

Vivica Fox

Vivica Fox still has the curves. And she is not afraid to show those curves off in an Ese Azenabor floral jumpsuit.

Fantasia Barrino

Last, but not least, Fantasia is sassy and sexy in Monot gown with a dramatic black bow. She also won a 2024 NAACP Image Award for her performance in “The Color Purple.”
