2021 People’s Choice Award Red-Carpet Hits

There is something special about People’s Choice Awards, it is about the people and their choices! The biggest pop culture event was held in Santa Monica and hosted by none other than SNL’s Kenan Thompson.

So, who was the best of the best in 2021? All the athletes, social media stars, comedians were nominees but there were also some special top honorees. Halle Berry, the Icon of 2021 Award, The Rock as People’s Champion Award, Christina Aguilera Music Icon Award, and Kim Kardashian Fashion Icon Award!

So, let’s do what Fashion Reverie loves doing the most, pick our favorite red carpet looks! There were plenty of questionable choices, let’s say housewives might consider stylists but we will focus on the best!

Kim Kardashian

Kim has come a long way! Which only shows that you can work on everything. She wore Balenciaga and looked incredible. It was not particularly innovative, and Fashion Reverie has seen this look before; however, Kim K delivered a great speech.

Kim K impressed many in a jumpsuit with impressive dramatic jewelry and dark sunglasses. Would the look be better without the shades? We will leave it to you to decide; however, what was touching about Kim K’s speech is that she credited Kanye and a few designers for giving her a chance.

Halle Berry

Another jumpsuit, still Halle has her own signature statement in this jumpsuit! She looked fierce and action scene ready in a sequined, fitted Rick Owens metallic piece paired with a perfect pair of Jimmy Choo heels. Red carpet or a James bond movie, Halle always delivers.

 Cardi B

Cardi wore Sol by Irena Soprano and even though this look was some sort of Jessica Rabbit inspiration. That said, she looks great. This sexy look left a great impression. Cardi B looks effortlessly beautiful and confident.

JoJo Siwa

It is interesting to see her slowly grow up. This is a princess-like Jenny Peckham look is a signal that JoJo is ready to reinvent herself. We love seeing her in one shade of light pink, she looks feminine and comfortable in high heels which thus far has been a rare sight.

 Becky G

The Roberto Cavalli dress was a perfect fit for Becky G. We love that she wore a daring yellow which is a perfect choice if done right. Fabric falls amazingly on her body, and the one strap flatters her figure. Whichever pose she took from any angle, Becky G looked fantastic.

 Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson in Vivienne Westwood, what can you say? Well, these two are a match. Paris always goes for that rock star look even when in a gown. We love that it is a fitted dress not a flashy color but with fishnets and platform shoes. Now this is someone with her own style.

Laverne Cox

Laverne Cox is a pro when it comes to working the carpet. She wore a Jean Louis Sabaji purple feathers dress which seems to be quite a popular element besides the jumpsuits trend. What Fashion Reverie especially liked about this look is that Cox matched her hair with the colors of the dress.

Roberto Cavalli still has his recognizable signature look. This is a gown appropriate for the event and looks edgy and chic! Much better than the some of the prom looks other stars on the carpet wore. And this look worked well for Gottmik. Housewives, we are looking at you!
