Great Looks from the 2021 Emmy’s Red Carpet

Ratings were up substantially at the 2021 Emmy Awards, and all the attendees seemed to be excited to be at an awards’ show and the house looked packed. It did seem each group stayed within their circle, and it was clear big precautions were taken to keep everyone safe. Red carpet looks were memorable and great fashion is all it takes for Fashion Reverie to enjoy watching. Here are looks that impressed Fashion Reverie.

Anya Taylor Joy showed up looking like a Hollywood goddess in a Christian Dior haute couture look.  The look consisted of a canary cape, which she wore over her arms and a light silky dress. Something tells us this is just the beginning of her memorable looks.

Ashi Studio and Billy Porter are a perfect match. It is a challenge to make the best-dressed list if you are all in black. However, if you strike poses like Billy Porter, you absolutely can make the list, especially if your garment comes with sculpted sleeves as wings and a ton of diamonds.

The Netflix host “Nailed It!” Nicole Byer wore a violet Christian Siriano gown custom made just for her. It was the perfect look for her, she looked truly opulent.

Dan Levy in Valentino Couture made Fashion Reverie’s list again. He always innovates his looks. Though Levy does not adhere to any style, Fashion Reverie always expectedly waits for a pleasant surprise from this Hollywood trend setter.

Emma Corrin turns heads in Miu Miu. This is a look everyone must have strong thoughts about. A simple gown enriched by black “claw” gloves and a swim cap? Now that’s having fun with fashion.

Emerald Fennell in Valentino looked feminine and dreamy. This might be more of an Oscars look but since we’ve lacked glamour on red carpets for some time now due to the health pandemic, we are so happy that Emerald has turned out to be a rare jewel.

Angela Bassett in Greta Constantine looked energized and radiant. It seemed the actress fully recharged over the summer and is ready to take over the new season (again). This dress is dramatic, with the fuschia ruffles bringing out Basset’s beautiful facial features.

Bowen Yang is bringing so much joy this year starting from playing The Iceberg on “SNL” to last night’s red carpet. He wore a Zegna tuxedo, but spiced things up with a pair of silver platform boots from queer Asian-owned Brooklyn brand Syro, complemented with a Tiffany’s brooch!
