Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of August 23, 2021

This week’s celebrity fashion sightings take our viewers to the premiere of “Cinderella” in Los Angeles and the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show in Venice. Though we are still in the middle of a deadly health pandemic, the economy is slowly improving, and the fashion industry is following suit with live fashion shows. Fashion Reverie is always primed and ready, bringing our viewers wonderful fashion from some of the industry’s favorite celebrities.

OK, another “Cinderella” movie, really? Well, this 2021 “Cinderella’s” storyline is a bit different. In this version, Cinderella wants to start her own clothing line and there is a flamboyant fairy godfather instead of a fairy godmother.

That said, no one can turn out a red-carpet with more style and drama than Billy Porter. At the “Cinderella” premiere in Los Angeles, Porter donned a black and white ensemble with oversized white bow by North African designer Mohamed Benchellal.

Now, does this ensemble scream Met Gala? Fashion Reverie says, “Yes”!!
