2021 Cannes Film Festival Red Carpet

Red Carpets we missed you! And there is no great way to get back to glamour then with the 74th Annual Cannes Film Festival. Kicking off glamour in full swing, well, almost.

Stars have officially returned to the Cannes red carpet for the opening ceremony on July 6th and the debut film screening of Leos Carax’s “Annette.” We witnessed an array of stunning looks and there is hopefully so much more to come since the festival goes on until July 17th, 2021.

Bella Hadid

Bella is all about the vintage glam in a white vintage Jean-Paul Gaultier gown with a black sheer veil as a train. If that was not breathtaking enough, she accessorized with pear-shaped diamond earrings, a marquise-cut diamond ring, and heart-shaped ruby ring which are from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie collection. Perfection!

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren truly brought joy and happiness in a bright, yellow long-sleeve dress by Dolce & Gabbana perfectly fitted to her curves with a gorgeous, dramatic necklace! This is one of the favorite looks of 2021!

Nataly Osmann

Not just anyone can pull off this shade of green along with cut outs. Nataly looked chic in a Belik post-couture strapless, fitted, slit dress.

Paola Locatelli

Model and youtuber Paola just looks happy to be in Cannes. Locatelli is making up for the canceled Cannes Film Festival of 2020 in a short-length, silver-black Miu Miu dress and a matching black purse.

Isabelle Huppert

Unlike Paola, Isabelle could be like a lot of us, just not quite ready to get out there on the red carpet. In all-black Balenciaga long sleeves and turtle-neck gown with dark black shades, this look would intimidate the red-carpet media looking for an interview opportunity. Fashion Reverie is looking forward to seeing if she will appear more approachable by the end of the Cannes Film festival.  By being adorned in silver jewelry, Isabelle Huppert gives Fashion Reverie some hope of better fashion choices.

Iris Berben

If owning the red carpet was possible, Iris would own the Cannes’ red carpet. Berben wore a beautiful Oscar de la Renta kaftan like, off-the-shoulder gown. Simply gorgeous!

Elena Lenina

Elena is bringing back camp. In an all silver gown and a golden shimmery headpiece, she made sure people noticed her look. This look is an acquired taste, and it seems a little bit of an uncomfortable fabric for July. However, there are fans who loved Lenina’s look and probably think she is the best dressed at Cannes so far. This extravagant look is her style, after all. Keep having fun with fashion!!

Candice Swanepoel

Jumpsuits are always risqué at a big and important red carpet like the Cannes Film Festival. However, the former Victoria’s Secret model did it right in an embellished nude 70’s style Etro jumpsuit.
