Fellas, spring has sprung, and it’s time to get ready for the summer. They say summer bodies are made in the winter, but Fashion Reverie says it’s always the right time to take care of yourself. Due to the temporary business closings and social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have realized that a lot of things we did in person can actually be done virtually, or at home. Office meetings have turned to video conferences. Grocery shopping has turned to an array of grocery and meal delivery services. And spa visits have turned into at-home staycation-style treatments.

Fashion Reverie has compiled a list of spa-worthy products you can use at home to get your hair, face, and skin glowing like never before. And as an added bonus, most of these products are from small businesses, so you’re helping budding entrepreneurs. This way, treating yourself is the gift that keeps on giving.

Aba Love Apothecary ($38)

Cleansing your hair is only one step. You then need to follow-up and keep it, and the skin underneath moisturized. This beard oil calms skin with essential oils including organic vetiver and lavender blended in organic goldenseed jojoba oil. Scented with a bright woodsy aroma with a pinch of spiced floral musk, it won’t clog your pores and can be used as a facial serum, beard oil and a shaving oil.

Oui The People Ingrown Relief Toner ($25)

This is not your typical facial toner. It features a simplified, fragrance-free formula of witch hazel, vegetable glycerin, and exfoliating gluconolactone, a poly-hydroxy acid (or PHA). Oui The People call this toner the “shy sister” to more powerful acids, which usually fall under the alpha-hydroxy acid and beta-hydroxy acid umbrellas. The PHA works to slough away the skin cell buildup that can cause ingrown hairs. This easier-going exfoliation uses the fatty acids and antioxidants to leave your skin with a smoother, brighter, more even tone.

It is an invigorating body wash that will leave your skin moisturized without all the extra stuff that other body washes contain Made from all natural, vegan ingredients, their entire skincare line is being formulated in small batches to ensure you receive the freshest and most effective formulations. And they use only premium essential oils in their skincare, never fragrance oils.

Combining the velvety, mineral rich “champagne” of salts, French gray sea salt & Fleur De Sel de Guerande, with moisturizing and antioxidant-rich oils and butters, creates the ultimate body buffing experience.  It exfoliates dull surface cells for smooth, radiant skin, polishes with mineral-rich salt crystals, and the natural citric acid refines and brightens. It truly is luxury in a jar.
