Great Red-Carpet Looks from the 2021 Grammy Awards

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards were a success. Though these Grammy did seem a little more private, there were some great red-carpet looks. There was a new executive producer on board and the pandemic, socially distanced Grammys didn’t feel like we are on a Zoom video conference call. There were quite a few memorable moments as well as a new host, the funny and talented Trevor Noah.

Here are some of Fashion Reverie’s favorite looks from the 2021 Grammy Awards.

Trevor Noah

Looked super sharp in a custom black tuxedo from Gucci and a beautiful brooch by Tiffany & Co. We haven’t seen him dressed up in a long time, since he has been hosting his own show on “Comedy Central” from home, usually in a hoodie. Trevor’s look was complete with a black bow tie and great energy! You do it, dapper Trevor!!

Dua Lipa

Dua Lipa is three times a winner!! She looked absolutely stunning in all three Atelier Versace looks. My favorite? Dua Lipa opened her performance in a beautiful princess-like dress with one shoulder, uncovered to expose a crystal bustier top.  Her stage performance was fun, and we confirm, Dua is in excellent shape.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift wore a dress from Oscar de la Renta‘s spring ’21 collection that looked like a bouquet of freshly picked flowers.  Taylor decorated the red carpet with sunflowers, peonies, and daisies. With a pair of pastel pink peep-toe pumps from Christian Louboutin, Taylor’s ensemble hints that spring is in the air.

Billie Eilish

We know her style, we know what to expect, still she is always a pleasant surprise and one of the best-dressed and interesting celebs on the red carpet. Eilish made pulses quicken in a pink, black, and grey-patterned, buttoned-down Gucci shirt, and matching Gucci pants, accessorized with white sneakers, a matching mask, and bucket hat, Billie style. Did you have a signature look at 19? Probably, not. Well, not like Billie.

Julia Michaels

She wore Georges Chakra dress, decorated with round white ruffles which is a classic, perfect for hourglass shaped woman. Some people were a little distracted by her tattoos, but this dress deserves attention.

Beyoncé

Whatever Beyoncé was aiming for at the 2021 Grammy’s, it was not working. Although the leather Schiaparelli cocktail dress showed off her curves beautifully, Bat Girl, she aint. Her Grammy’s afterparty look was better; however, the sexy, metallic Burberry Joan of Arc look did not do the lovely Beyoncé justice. Hmm, better luck next time!!

Doja Cat

We love unique looks. Doja was wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress with a very, very low-cut decolletage that was paired with a feather bottom. We are happy to see Cavalli back where every piece of the gown speaks for itself, yet, magically all the pieces come together.

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan wore Dolce & Gabbana with Chopard jewelry. This look was one of the favorites for online fans. The beautiful color and the simplicity of the gown and jewelry draws attention, at first glance. The high slit and a big train made magic. Now, her performance with Cardi B was something else. Magic, it was not!!

Ingrid Andress

Fashion Reverie saved one of the best for last!! Country music star Ingrid In Giorgio Armani, accessorized with Chopard jewelry looks very regal. She doesn’t like dresses, so her choice of a super glamorous pant suit photographed well and turned heads. Less is more really works for Ingrid.
