The 26th annual Critics Choice Awards hosted by Taye Diggs brought us into the living rooms of Hollywood stars so we can enjoy the virtual red carpet. This virtual red carpet was exciting with plenty of dramatic looks.

As a preview to the 2021 Oscars and more award shows and events to come, we can say we are genuinely excited because the entertainment industry seems to be figuring out virtual how to produce these events.  Over-the-top glamour and very personable charm appears to be working for these virtual awards shows. But, ooh do we miss the live red carpets!!

Below you find Fashion Reverie’s eight favorite looks!

Emerald Fennell in Richard Quinn

Emerald sure stood out. We can’t decide if she looks like she is going to a pajama party or a garden party? Emerald’s look is leisurely comfortable and very creative. The ambiance in her living room says, “Welcome to my salon, “don’t need an actual red carpet to prove how stylish I am.”

Jurnee Smollet in Louis Vuitton

Jurnee is giving us that welcome to the future vibe. Her look says, “I am here in my three-dimensional space without a bra wearing a sparkly suit set.” She looks like she is a step ahead when it comes to 2021 trends.

Yara Shahidi in Dior haute couture

This look is absolutely perfect, fits Yara’s style, and she looks very comfortable, yet still slightly glammed and dressed up. Dior is always on point with their garments, and this number fits like a glove. The colors are pastel and signal to us new beginnings.

Emma Corrin in Schiaparelli haute couture

Emma’s little black dress is effortlessly chic, yet mysterious. This dress can be worn only by a very confident woman. At a first glance it is a little black dress; however, Schiaparelli always adds complexity and brings out the edginess.

Zendaya in Valentino haute couture

This is the look everyone has been buzzing about. We recognize Valentino’s signature dramatic shirt; however, we have never seen it worn the way Zendaya wears it. This voluminous orange skirt represents minimalist glamour, accessorized with a young and fun hair style and top that look like a wife beater.

Regina King in Versace

Regina looked sexy in this Versace va va voom dress. We love the dazzles and the way the dress fits her. Beautiful jewelry, perfect shine, and a very high slit! This is a true Hollywood glamour.

Ashley Park in Atelier Versace

We do not see bright green gowns often, do you agree? However, there is just something so special about seeing Ashley in this perfectly made dress surrounded by nature. She looks like a very well-dressed, sexy, sylvan fairy.

Kyra Sedgwick in Gabriela Hearst

Fringe is trending big time and we will keep seeing it on accessories, as well. This yellow silk midi dress, with a V-shaped fringe just tells us Kyra is enjoying herself and celebrating from home just like the rest of us.
