When you consider which celebrity or public figures wear black designers, who comes to mind first? I would guess political figures like Michelle Obama and Vice President Kamala Harris. Of course, you probably also thought of Beyoncé. However, there are many celebrities who show support by supporting designers of color. Since it is Black History Month, Fashion Reverie curated some looks for our viewers of some celebrities that we find super stylish and that are making some fashionable choices with black fashion designers.

Preston’s design aesthetic brings back the good old days of fashion week back when you could catch so many great celebrity street style looks!

Naomi Campbell is an activist and a name the fashion world symbolizes with elegance and fashion-forward sensibility, Naomi Campbell, was one of the very first celebrities outspoken about inequality of people of color who work in the fashion industry.
Kenneth Ize who works with Nigerian artisans to preserve fabric-making techniques and then makes these fabrics into something modern debuted his collection at Paris Fashion Week. Naomi closed his show wearing a colorful-striped belted trench coat.

Markle is a trending topic, and she is expecting her second child. Fashion Reverie remembers when we first saw Meghan with Prince Harry. We remember the Wales Bonner trench dress Markle wore, designed by Grace Wales Bonner. Bonner combines European and African styles in her menswear and womenswear boutique.
