The 2020 Billboard Music Awards is always a fun show and always super fashionable. So, Fashion Reverie is delighted so many stars “brought it” to the red carpet of the Billboard Music Awards.

The event didn’t have a studio audience; however, a handful of celebrities did appear in person. The host, Kelly Clarkson as well as Nicole Richie, Billie Elish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and made a live appearance.  From gowns to pantsuits and monochromatic vibes, the fashion at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards was on point and with lots of fashion statements. So, let’s look at Fashion Reverie’s top ten favorites.

The show’s host was great and showed off multiple looks during the broadcast. One outfit that stood out for us was a Balmain fall 2020 draped gown, especially fitting for Clarkson’s center-stage diva vibe.

Lizzo made a statement in a black and white, one shoulder mini by Christian Siriano with an important message, VOTE!! Lizzo always makes us smile with her cheerful presence, but more importantly her encouragement to VOTE. We love stars that speak their mind!!

We aren’t very used to Alicia Keys wearing sparkly outfits. That’s why seeing Alicia in a glittering jumpsuit by Yousef Aljasmi was so exciting. She was confident and showed of her radiant smile and happiness while showing of her curves.

The asymmetrical floral gown by Christian Siriano was beautiful and one of the very few proper “gowns” of the evening. Was it out of place and too formal for the Billboard Awards? Nah, anything goes when it comes to the fashion and the Billboards.

Tarji P. Henson lived up to our expectations in a shimmering, ruched Alexandre Vauthier gown. Showing off her figure, with a sexy high slit and with a pink bob, the actress brought modern charm and confident to the event.

Talk about a blast from the past!! Famed drummer and trailblazer Sheila E. brought back the glitz of the ’70s in a sequined, bell-sleeved set.

We are used to Billie’s penchant for oversized looks, but at the 2020 Billboard Awards she was wearing jacquard, olive, monochromatic look along with a mask and a hat! All by Gucci. Fashion Reverie loved Billie’s matching nails!!

Can Cher let us know where the fountain of youth is? This icon always looks on point and it is interesting how she’s managed to maintain her style no matter what the fashion trends are. She wore an embellished mini dress by Hila Arshadnia, accessorized in fishnets with platform sandals.

Is it a fairy tale or just Sia being Sia? Fashion Reverie bets on Sia being Sia with oversized hair, oversized bows, and an oversized dress! The look was by Dolce & Gabbana and all pink!

More sparkles and more embellishments; why not force 2020 to shine!! Doja Cat wore a custom Georges Hobeika gown.
