Even though Fashion Reverie has already published our Holiday 2019 fashion collaborations, we just couldn’t leave out footwear designer Ruthie Davis’ collaboration with Disney’s “Frozen 2” sequel, timed to be available with the launch of Disney’s animated feature “Frozen 2.” No stranger to Disney’s powerful female characters, Ruthie Davis has had a three-time hit with her Disney Princess collaborations with Jasmine, Snow White, and Mulan.
“This is an exciting collection as it is inspired by not one but two incredible sisters: Anna and Elsa. They each bring their own voice and journey to the designs, so we broke the collection into two distinct groups—one more Anna inspired and one more Elsa inspired” shared Ruthie.
Comprised of six styles—the Frozen II holiday capsule collection—embodies the voices of “Frozen 2’s” Anna and Elsa, the shoes, like Anna and Elsa, are larger than life. Comparable to the journey we experience the film’s heroines take as they evolve with courage and confidence, Ruthie Davis designs shoes that make women feel optimistic and empowered throughout their own journeys in life.
“I was very much inspired to design this collection as it is very sensory involved” said Ruthie Davis. “You can feel the icy temperatures, see the incredibly rich and multi-dimensional forest hues, touch the soft luscious materials and hear the swirling Nordic wind spirit. This group of shoes is designed to take you away to a faraway mythical place that is exquisite and otherworldly.”

The footwear capsule collection features Swarovski Crystal stilettos, iridescent PVC accents, silver glittery ankle boots, and platform sneakers adorned with “Frozen 2”-inspired iconography. That said; this capsule collection is not for those short on cash. Still, it is the holidays, spurge a little!!
The collection will be available for purchase on Thursday, November 21st exclusively on ruthiedavis.com and at The Curated by Christian Siriano in New York City. The styles retail for $598 to $898.
