Editors’ Picks: Seven Small, Luxurious (and affordable!) Stocking Stuffer Ideas

The bells are ringing, the stars are twinkling, and cars are now officially carrying Christmas trees back to their respective yearly positions by the fireplace. In other words, it’s officially the Christmas season! As we enter the holiday season, treat your loved ones (or yourself) to a simple luxury added to a stocking.

From beautiful candles and lip balms to luxurious skincare and even a beautiful scarf for him—Fashion Reverie has you covered. Each of the elegant and sophisticated items are sure to make everyone shout with joy as these stuffers are pulled out of stockings on Christmas Day.

Nanor Collection’s Travel Candles–$20

Fashion Reverie knows there is nothing quite like opening and lighting a fresh candle on Christmas Day. If you happen to be traveling this holiday season, Nanor made it even easier with a beautiful travel collection of candles. With each product made out of soy wax, cruelty-free, and entirely sustainable, it’s impossible to not fall for their sweet scents.

Delight Naturals–$4

Another fantastic and easy option to add to a Christmas stocking is an all-natural set of chapsticks. This is excellent for the winter season when chapped lips become as common as family fights over spiked eggnog. Fashion Reverie’s favorite? Delight Naturals! A female-owned brand with holiday-themed scents to help us feel extra cozy this season.

Michael Andrews Bespoke Black and White Polka Dot Men’s Scarf –$129

When it comes to the holidays, The Night Before Christmas isn’t the only story circulating around. If you’re a man, or happen to be shopping for a man, how many times have you been told that men are impossible to shop for? And look, the ones out in their tool shed all day might pose a bit of trouble … but for the fashionable gentleman in your life, this scarf from Michael Andrews Bespoke is tres magnifque!

J.R. LIGGETT’S Lip Butter in Cocoa–$5.99

Similar to Fashion Reverie’s love of dropping a Delight Naturals chapstick into the stocking of a loved one … there’s something particularly cozy about a good lip butter, too. With many large cosmetic brands dropping cocoa-scented items, we’ve returned to our roots with our favorite lip butter from J.R. Liggett’s collection. Not only is the chocolate-y aroma perfect for this time of year, but the rich texture of the butter is perfect to use as a lip mask if you live in a cold climate.

Velvet Caviar’s Phone Case Collaboration with Peanuts–$25-$45

Please tell us we aren’t the only ones looking forward to sitting down and watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas” … for us, this is the definition of the holiday spirit, and it seems that phone case brand Velvet Caviar agrees. Based out of Brooklyn, New York, the creative phone case company just debuted a collaboration for the Christmas season with our favorite Charlie Brown characters.

Coach Cherry Purse Charms–$95

As Jane Birkin-ifying your purses goes viral, so does the idea of bag charms. Coach snatched onto this idea with the too-cute idea of glittery cherry charms. Whether you wrap it up and set it into the booty of the stocking or attach it to the stocking itself, this little gift is a sure-fire winner for the fashionista girls.

Estee Lauder Gift Set– $90

There is truly nothing better to unwrap during the holidays than a beautiful holiday gift set. Not only does purchasing a luxurious item during this time of the year save you money, the packaging feels like a gift of its own. Fashion Reverie’s personal favorite is the gift set from Estee Lauder. While the total value would normally be $625, now you can get it for $90!

Editors’ Pick: Christopher John Rogers X J.Crew Capsule Collection

There’s nothing quite like a collaboration between a designer and a clothing company known for more affordable options.  But it’s even better when the crossover causes both to step out of their comfort zone. This is exactly what happened with the collaboration between J.Crew and Christopher John Rogers (CJR). As many fashion lovers know, CJR is a bold and colorful designer, while J. Crew often colors inside the lines and sticks to more classic items. Due to this contrast, the capsule collection that debuted just earlier November is a stunning creative example of what an amazing collaboration can help to happen.

While it’s easy to note that collaborations are a dime a dozen, and Fashion Reverie has already rounded up our favorites for fall 2024; this one is unique and special. J.Crew is often timid when it comes to cross-pollinating with other designers or brands. However, as the brand is trying to revamp their image, we’ve been seeing collabs and crossovers pop-up with them more often.

Images courtesy of J.Crew

For Rogers, collaborations are just another form of creativity. In 2021 CJR would create a capsule collection for Target and in 2023 CJR would create a collection of eyewear with Andy Wolf that would sell out in a matter of hours. Now with a J.Crew collaboration under their belt, it seems everyone from all walks of life can be a CJR girl.

Many of the items in the colorful collection are perfect for mixing and matching, and with a price range of $50 to $550 it’s more affordable and accessible to the average fashionista. Fashion Reverie’s personal favorites are CJR’s revamped versions of J.Crew classics, along with statement pieces that prove that maximalism is here to stay.

Skincare Secrets for Autumn 2024

As the weather gets colder, you might notice some adverse effects to your skin.  The changing of the seasons always provides extra concerns, particularly from summer into the fall.

Fashion Reverie chatted with supermodel/actress Molly Sims’ personal esthetician, facialist and brand ambassador for YSE Beauty, Catherine Esposito about how to improve the look and feel of your skin without a complex, 18-step skincare regime. Enjoy!!!

To get beautiful skin for fall is really a two-step process.  First you want to reverse any hyper pigmentation, get rid of dead skin, and rehydrate from days of enjoying perhaps too much time in the sun. Esposito recommends finding a good quality product with tranexamic acid.  From Sim’s YSE Beauty line, The Problem Solver is perfect for getting back to a good base as it has both tranexamic acid and niacinamide.  “It really clears up your skin. It’s kind of similar to getting a laser treatment after summer,” Esposito explains.

Secondly, you need to hydrate your skin in preparation for the colder temperatures.  Esposito stresses that hydration is extremely important for you skin in every season, (seriously moisturize your skin all year round) but “moving into the colder months, you want to make sure that you feel it on a deeper level … I love [YSE’s] Xtremely Rich, it’s super nourishing.  It’s going to keep you plump all day.”  With key ingredients including ceramides, squalane, hyaluronic acid, microalgae, and licorice root extract, Xtremely Rich rebalances the skin’s microbiome, targets dark spots, and provides lots of hydration.

While we love a good all over moisturizer, some spots just need a little extra love as they seem to always get dry no matter what you do.  Esposito has a trick to help fix those troubling dry areas on your face, “Going into fall especially, I would take the YSE lip mask [ Like a Gloss] if you’re feeling a little dry in specific areas such as underneath the eyes or even around the nose. If you’re going to sleep, you can dab it right there [in those sensitive, extra dry spots] to make sure that you’re adding a little extra hydration.” shares Esposito.  You can also apply a little on your marionette lines for a more youthful look while you’re at it.

So now that you’ve improved the look of hyper-pigmentation from sun damage, removed all the dead skin, moisturized all over, is there anything else you can do to have your skin look it’s best for fall?  Esposito shares that she personally loves YSE’s Vacation Glow Highlighter Stick. “The highlighter stick is something that I literally have in every single one of my bags, because it just gives me that little glow, which is perfect if you’re like feeling a little dull moving into the winter months.”  It’s super easy to use to get a radiant complexion even when you’re short on time.  “I just put a little bit on when I’m running an errand and it makes me feel more complete …  it’s just the perfect accent for when you don’t want to go full makeup, but you do want to look [polished and ready to take on your day.] The highlighter stick paired with Skin Glow SPF, which is both sunscreen and primer [in one] is the perfect combination; simple, ready to go, flawless.”

Beautiful skin is the foundation for every beauty look from TikTok to the runway.  Be sure to utilize these tips to reverse summer damage and keep that complexion hydrated and you’ll be good to go for all those Pumpkin Spice Latte selfies!

Fall 2025 Bridal Beauty Trends

Attention, fall 2025 brides! The latest beauty and accessory trends are sure to make your special day unforgettable. But why wait until next year? These stunning looks can elevate any bride’s style, no matter the season.

Fashion Reverie highlights the most talked about collections from this season’s bridal shows to inspire your wedding day look.

Ines Di Santo

Ines Di Santo’s fall 2025 bridal collection is a romantic celebration of textures and colors. “I see each garment as a living painting,” Di Santo explains. “Every fold, every movement, becomes a brushstroke. I aimed to evoke the same visceral emotion you feel when gazing at a Renaissance masterpiece—timeless yet full of life.”

The collection features a variety of gowns, such as a blush and lilac floral ballgown with a feather cape, a blue floral skirt with a strapless lace bodice, and a textured white drop-waist gown. There are even shorter and tea length options for brides ready to dance the night away. The collection showcased lots of pops of color with accessories playing a crucial role.

Ines partnered once again with Bobbi Brown for a soft, blush-focused makeup look. Global pro artist Cassandra Garcia utilized Pot Rouge in ‘Velvet Plum’ and ‘Pale Pink’ to create a flushed and natural glow. “Pot Rouge is essential because you can easily touch it up throughout the day … and you can use it on your cheeks and lips,” Garcia notes also sharing how she loves the cream base as it’s perfect for blending. Models also wore No Smudge Mascara, Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in ‘Cinnamon’ and ‘Golden Pink,’ and Extra Plump Lip Serum in ‘Bare Pink’ pressed into their lips for a soft, stain-like glow.

Pnina Tornai

For the bride who wants to stand out, Pnina Tornai’s collection features eye-catching pieces like Chantilly lace bodysuits with long gathered sleeves, a mock-neck fit-and-flare gown adorned with beaded floral lace, and a climbing rose jacquard ball gown with a high collar. This extravagant collection is brimming with embellishments, including mirror crystals, opals, pearls, flowers, ruffles and glittering bows.

Tornai’s styling included a variety of gloves, such as sheer illusion gloves with water crystal raindrops, lace ruffle gloves with silk organza bows, and a pair of black crystal-embellished lace ones. Hand-painted veils adorned with feather butterflies, an ostrich feather stole, and a crystal birdcage veil added extra flair. As for the jewelry, Pnina Tornai and Jared the Galleria of Jewelry teamed up on a collection of gorgeous pieces that caught the light and made each bride sparkle.

To enhance each bride’s natural radiance, the team at Beautini created what they described as “a soft, dewy skin, makeup look.” The Beautini team shares, “As Pnina Tornai herself said it best, this collection and look was inspired by light, spreading light, and shining your light on the world so love prevails. This skin-forward style focuses on highlighting the cheekbones and skin with hydrating skincare, dewy face coverage and highlighter applied to the cheekbones and brows to create a clean, glowy look.”

In terms of bridal trends, the team shared that they are seeing more “natural looks that enhance your features, paired with slick backed updos that shift the focus to the bride’s natural beauty” which happens to mirror the trends seen at this past New York Fashion Week (NYFW).  To look your best on your wedding day the team shares some tips, “We recommend prioritizing hydration! Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated from within, apply your everyday face cream, and use Beia’s Daily Hydrating & Setting Mist to help de-puff and hydrate the skin before the makeup is applied. We also loved using Patrick Ta’s Blush Duo for a soft and natural blushy look.”

Images courtesy of Janine Silver

NARDOS

NARDOS embodies timeless elegance with a vintage-inspired collection showcased at their Madison Avenue store. Accessories were minimal and mostly included for styling versatility, such as a high-neck cape-like topper on a flowing Moonstone hand-embroidered gown, a halter neckline with a detachable topper (for versatility with styling) over a drop waist Chantilly and Lyon lace gown adorned with intricate floral patterns, and a delicate veil over a fitted floral gown with a sheer train.

Most jewelry was understated, focusing attention on the gowns. Hair was styled in slightly messy romantic updos with a delicate braid, complemented by strong brows, slightly smoked out eyes on the outer corners, false lashes, and a touch of pink blush for a natural, yet glamorous feel.  The perfect transition from the more glamorous looks to this upcoming season’s more natural trend.  Proving you can have the best of both worlds and look amazing at the same time!

For brides seeking a modern aesthetic, consider incorporating glamorous accessories in vibrant colors, or playful jeweled touches. Embrace your own beauty with simple hairstyles that keep your hair off of your face (and showing off the back of the gown) and soft, minimal makeup with a touch of blush that really highlights your best features while letting your natural complexion shine through.

Editor’s Picks: Fashion Reverie’s Favorite Three Collaborations and Innovations for Fall 2024

Collaborations between brands are a dime a dozen these days from Fendi partnering with SKIMS and Dolce & Gabbana even going as far as to partner with Smeg Appliances. Sometimes these partnerships which may be designed to bring in a new audience to the brand make as little sense as our societal habit of saying, “ya, no” as a negative. Yet, despite the chaotic partnerships and collaborations that are constantly popping up on social media, there are always a few each season that make our hearts beat a little faster.

This fall, these are the ones that make Fashion Reverie tingle with excitement. Not only are these collaborations innovative, they are also guaranteed to be stunning.

Editors’ Pick: Seven Fall 2024 Ladies’ Fragrances

With days getting shorter, leaves falling and the air becoming crisp as we transition to autumn, it’s also time to transition our scent preferences. As beautiful as a soft floral can be in spring and summer, the impact of the scent is less worldly when it comes to autumn. Instead, true fashionistas have learned to embrace warmer notes in their perfumes to evoke a sense of comfort and coziness when it comes to the colder seasons.

While finding the perfect perfume each season can feel a bit like an art form, the right scent will uplift your mood and become one with the memories you make this season. If get overwhelmed by the perfume aisle in beauty stores, Fashion Reverie has prepared a sensory feast for you. Below are some of Fashion Reverie’s favorite fall fragrances. Some are earthy and light, others spicy and sweet, but whatever tickles your fancy (or should we say nose?) will certainly remind you of fall.

Chris Collins Discovery Set $50

For those of you a bit unsure about your signature scent for fall, the Chris Collins Discovery set is a great collection to grab. Built around eight of their bestselling fragrances, the mini bottles allow you to find the best scent for you. From the spicy multidimensional scent of African Roobis to the light, airy scent of Citrus Grandis you might walk away from this set with more than one favorite.

Replica Autumn Vibes by Maison Margiela $85

If you are in the market for a more woody and mysterious fragrance Autumn Vibes from Maison Margiela’s Replica scent collection is a great choice. With notes of berries, cardamom, and moss the fall perfume perfectly encapsulates the feeling of walking through the woods as the autumnal light cascades onto you.

House of Bo Bombon Parfum $365

If you’re desperate for a rich, luxurious, and fiery scent to bring you into the fall, then this is the one you should purchase. Described by the perfumiar as ‘hedonistic,’ and ‘self-indulgent,’ the notes of cognac make sense and acknowledge the rich flavor of the fall season.

Nest Vanilla Bourbon Perfume $92

An easy scent to gravitate to when it comes to the colder seasons, Fashion Reverie discovered it’s the mixture of vanilla, bourbon, jasmine, and brown sugar that creates this timeless and clean scent. With the jasmine notes balancing the darker, spicier scents in this perfume, it becomes almost seasonless. Perhaps it will be your next year-round scent?

Outremer Vanille $24

When it comes to seasonal scents, don’t get too stressed about prices. Outremer’s Vanille scent is the perfect affordable option. Scented like a rich, spiced vanilla and light as air when sprayed onto your skin, this perfume is an excellent option when dabbling in finding a signature fall scent.

Angeli di Firenze $100

This eau de cologne is a symphony of different scents. Created in tribute by the Italian brand Santa Maria Novella for the Mud Angels who escaped to Florence after the 1966 flood, this scent is filled with symbolism. Heavy with autumnal Italian scents, there’s a layer of citrus, vanilla, musk and black current that lends to a sophisticated fall scent.

Images courtesy of the respective brands

The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition $94

Cherry blossom fragrances are most often associated with springtime, but when this scent from 7 Virtues is paired with sandalwood, amber, and cognac, you’ll receive an overpowering scent designed to ignite a feeling of romance and bravery. Different from other perfume companies, the 7 Virtures also upholds their beliefs by donating part of the proceeds to menstrual equity in Noth America.

Editors’ Pick: The Best Men’s Fall 2024 Ad Campaigns

The start of meteorological fall is defined as right after Labor Day; however, the fall solstice this year is officially September 22 at 8:43 a.m.  September has also long been described as the January of fashion, as that is when the fashion New Year starts with brands unveiling their ad campaigns for their fall and winter pieces that will carry into 2024, and Fashion Month begins marking the unveiling of next spring and summer’s collections.

This year’s campaign rollouts have been accompanied by some standout advertising work in menswear. Men’s retail sales are growing, as evidenced by Statista’s market forecast projecting the global menswear market will grow by 2.90 percent between 2024 and 2028 to a market volume of 643 billion dollars.

As menswear’s fashion market share grows, brands are coming up with creative ways to advertise their products for fall 2024. Fashion Reverie takes a closer look at some of the standout menswear campaigns for this season.

Bonobos

Bonobos has come a long way from being a men’s khaki brand. For fall 2024, the brand launched its “Fit is a Feeling” campaign, leaning into its history as an innovator of well-fitting men’s khakis. The brand was originally founded by Andy Dunn and Brian Spaly when they were students at Stanford Business School and wanted to find a well-fitting khaki.

The new campaign features videos of guys going about their day, riding bikes, or walking the streets in Bonobos blazers, shirts, and pants. Bonobos took the approach of having the campaign reflect “regular people,” hyping up the relatability factor. In the video, the narrator says, “When pants fit, the world sees it.” The brand plans to run the campaign through the holiday season and beyond.

New Era

New Era hats played on nostalgia for the brand’s fall 2024 campaign, channeling the brand’s 100-year heritage. The fall 2024 campaign also marked the debut of their new creative director, Dao-Yi Chow’s first collection.

Chow is best known to the fashion industry and the streetwear crowd as one of the co-founders of Public School alongside Maxwell Osborne. Chow and Osborne also served as creative directors of DKNY for three years.

In the old school spirit, the campaign was shot in black and white and prominently features New Era’s longtime best-selling 59Fifty cap. Although playing on nostalgia, the campaign featured next-generation talent as models, including internet personality Carlisle Aikens, model Fisher Smith, rugby player Jonah Lowe, and Chow’s son, Idriys Ali-Chow.

Allen Edmonds

Allen Edmonds continues its ultra-luxury push with its Reserve Collection, priced between $800 and $3000. Their fall 2024 campaign stars none other than male supermodel Sean O’Pry.

In the campaign, O’Pry is featured admiring the shoe, which is under glass, like it’s some sacred artifact in a museum. The imagery adds to the allure, rareness, and how coveted these shoes are. The new campaign is titled “An Exhibition of Distinction,” and at $3000, those should be treated like rare pieces in a museum.

Amiri

Everybody wants to go to Hollywood for Amiri’s fall 2024 campaign. The luxury menswear brand’s latest campaign cast rising actors Ashton Sanders and Seth Lee, along with K-pop star Sunwoo from The Boyz, as the stars of its latest campaign.

The campaign was shot at The Palace Theater in Los Angeles as the brand’s way of merging fashion and film and paying homage to Hollywood’s influence on the new collection. The entire campaign had the vibe of actors getting ready to go on stage or prepare for an industry film screening.

Gant

Matt Dillon might be best known as one of Hollywood’s leading men, but now he can also add Gant campaign star to his resume. For their fall 2024 campaign, Gant cast Dillon, along with music group Infinity Song, the Throwing Fits podcaster, and models Tony Ozhan and Eleonore Jeanne, for their ads. The collection plays up Gant’s preppy and workwear pieces, where all the models were photographed in a set that looked like a study. With this collection, Gant is also celebrating its 75th anniversary, paying homage to its heritage.

Dior

Shall we dance? Dior thinks we should.

The brand’s fall 2024 menswear campaign is on pointe, no pun intended. The brand dared to go where no menswear brand had gone before and dressed its models in ballet flats for their fall 2024 campaign, highlighting the brand’s ballet flats for men.

The collection, inspired by acclaimed ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, features not only the required ballet shoes adapted for ready-to-wear but also Dior’s signature Oblique suit, outerwear, and dance gear references, including ribbed knits, robe coats, and wool jumpsuits and shorts.

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is taking us to the Wild Wild West for fall 2024. Creative director Pharrell’s latest collection for the brand is cowboy-themed, looking like a remake of “Brokeback Mountain” with all the costumes done by Louis Vuitton.

The campaign follows the same theme as the fall 2024 runway show, which used an Old Hollywood Western-inspired backdrop for its set. While Western style is nothing new, Louis Vuitton’s flavor on it is unique.

 Textured Monochromatic Manis

There is something so chic about a solid-colored nail with a little texture for interest. Celebrity nail artist, Pattie Yankee created both a white and a black textured nail look for Bryan Barrientos and SHAO NY.

Barriento’s collection this season featured white-on-white with lots of textures and interesting silhouettes, so Yankee wanted to mirror that on the nails. To get the look, start with a coat of white polish and add some flocking powder to give it that depth. The set created for SHAO NY focused on a jet-black look to complement the edgy designs. To achieve the look at home, you just need a little patience. Yankee recommends applying a base coat of a black polish such as her namesake brand’s ‘Fill the Void’ and attach black rhinestones on top to fill up the entire nails.

While those are the easiest looks to recreate at home, they certainly weren’t the only textured nails Yankee designed.  She also employed sculpting powder to create stunning textured chrome nails at Private Policy.

Get a Glass Effect

Glossy skin was the star on the runway at Prabal Gurung. “We pioneered the glass skin movement in 2018, at that time glass skin was not a thing and now there’s billions of views on the glass skin hashtag,” shares Alicia Yoon, Founder and CEO of Peach & Lily. “I actually have very sensitive eczema prone skin, which is why I wanted to start the brand because I couldn’t find something out there that was able to marry potency with gentle [formulas] for my sensitive skin.”

Yoon adds, “We’re really excited because for this fashion show we are all about bringing you healthy natural glass skin with just our products, foundation free, onto the runway. Glass skin is for everyone.  You can see the models here have very diverse skin, skin types, skin concerns, skin tones.  Wherever they are in their skin journey with the Peach & Lily products they’re all going to have glass skin … It’s a moment to show that glass skin is for everyone.”

So how do you achieve the glass skin effect at home? Yoon has some tips. “Start with the core glass skin routine, which is the Power Calm Cleanser, the Wild Dew Treatment Essence, the Glass Skin Refining Serum and the Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream. Then when you’re done with all of that … spray the Glass Skin Veil Mist and literally you have instant glass skin.” Implementing this routine will help improve the look over time, so you’re getting luminous skin from within.

However, don’t skip on the mist! “The Glass Skin Veil Mist it’s not a makeup product, it is a skin care product, but it gives you this incredibly beautiful finish. Not only does it find moisture, but it holds on to that moisture… You can wear it on bare skin, you can even wear it over makeup. The base is not water, it’s cucumber water so it’s very soothing and you just get that beautiful finish.”

Airy, Easy Tousled Tresses

For Simkhai spring 2025, celebrity stylist Holli Smith was inspired by the ‘70s archetypes and individuality. “We want to see some movement, but right now in this era, we’ve honored so many different unique personalities, textures, and haircuts,” explains Smith who focused on playing up each model’s own unique personal style, which she admits can be challenging at times when getting everyone ready for a show.

However, the main look for models with longer hair started with a middle part “It’s not laid with the pintail comb, so it’s not severe and couture.” Smith explains. “What we’re doing is we’re putting a few little clips right at the part in the back, so that it gives you a little bump of volume … without making volume at the side.  We want to keep it little closer to the head, it looks cooler, and it doesn’t get glamorous.”

Using TRESemmé Extra Hold Mousse, Smith applied it liberally to the hair in large panels, before gathering the hair and creating an ‘S’ wave. “I’m not using a curling iron to get something that becomes barrel looking or salon looking,” Smith emphasizes. “It’s just a simple cooler, closer to the body style.” Then using the Shark Beauty SpeedStyle ProFlex blow dryer on gentle heat (with the DeFrizz Fast diffuser) before taking out the clips that held the hair in place. “Next, I’m going to just break it up a little bit, but you know that it’s already set closer to the head so it’s kind of a cool girl look.  I just start to mess pieces up on the outer layer, so it looks special, like it’s not so forced down.

Iridescent Nudes

“Nudes for spring and everything for spring is going to be shimmery opalescent,” Miss Pop, lead manicurist and ZOYA Brand Ambassador explains. “Nothing boring anymore.  [At Theophilio’s ‘Shaunie’ spring 2025 collection] we’re using ZOYA’s ‘Nyssa’ which is a caramel nude and ‘Ophelia’ which is more of a dark chocolate and we’re putting over ‘Leia’ which is my favorite ZOYA Shade.”  Explains Miss Pop who also created a ‘Glam Glitter’ look in addition to the ‘Opalescent Nudes’ for the show.

However, if nudes aren’t your thing, bright iridescent manicures are also trending. Miss Pop recommends adding a shimmery shade over your favorite polish. “‘Leia’ is literally a Unicorn, it’s this opalescent glitter that’s just picks up light and shimmer and brings rainbow, unicorn magic to your nails, or opalescence if you’re an adult.  I literally put it over everything …”

Golden Hour Highlights at Any Hour

Lead Stylist Anthony Cole created voluminous, wind-blown, bouncy hair with soft subtle highlights mimicking the beautiful hues right before sunset for Prabal Gurung. “You’re going to have all different tones in the hair as the sun goes down, your color changes,” Cole explains. Backstage Cole and his team, colored extensions with Wella Color Touch to add into the hair. “We’re using more golden, cinnamon, pinkish, peachy tones on our blondes… tucked in underneath so that when the wind blows, just that little touch of color will [shine through] with the lighting … On the darker hair, we’re using more violet tones.”

The key to golden hour color is keeping it soft and subtle, focusing on the actual hues your individual color picks up at that time of day. “Everything that we’re doing has to blend it… it has to look like it belongs,” Cole stresses.

But that’s only one part of Cole’s gorgeous look.  For the natural, wind-blown effect, Cole starts with Wella Ultimate Repair, “it [works in] 90 seconds. You spray it onto the hair, it smooths the cuticle down creating a beautiful palette to work on. Then in the roots, we’ve been spraying Wella EIMI Body Crafter, we brush it through and then when we blow dry, we get this really cool, soft volume” which paired so well with an outdoor runway show and would look equally as beautiful walking down the street.

There’s no need to wait for spring 2025 to recreate your favorite looks at home!  There is no better time than now to play around with runway looks and make them your own
