In this fourth episode of “Fashion Reverie Talks,” we had the first guests on the show. First, we were privileged to have Deborah Sawaf, creative director of Thalé Blanc, talk about her debut ready-to-wear collection which premiered at the recent New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Deborah was interviewed by fashionreverie.com celebrity style editor Tijana Ibrahimovic. And later in episode 4, fashionreverie.com managing editor Carl Ayers interviewed actor London Brown about his role in the third iteration of “Tales from the Hood.”

“Fashion Reverie Talks” also hosted a round table discussion—Carl Ayers, Tijana Ibrahimovic, Cicily Daniels—about the spring 2021 collections of Bibhu Mohapatra, Maxhosa, and Alice + Olivia from NYFW. This was NYFW’s first digital presentation, and though many top designers did not show, there were several top brands that continued the tradition of showing their collections.

As with do with every episode, there was thought-provoking fashion news, which included news about Sean Combs collaborating with fashion brand Missguided, Ralph Lauren Corp. announcing layoffs, and Lacoste ending their collaboration with rappers Romeo Elvis and Moha La Squale. True to form, “Fashion Reverie Talks” episode 4 is full of information, charm and humor. Stay tuned for the next episode!!

“Fashion Reverie Talks” Episode 2

Image courtey of highsnobiety.com

Can you believe it? The second episode of “Fashion Reverie Talks” is now live. Who would’ve believed that when we started this journey five months ago that we would see it come to fruition so quickly?

That said; the second episode of “Fashion Reverie Talks” details some interesting fashion news—Jay Manuel’s new Book “The Wig, the Bitch, and the Meltdown,” Michele Morrone’s new gig as the face of Guess Men, and the high price Michael Jordan’s sneakers demanded at a Chrystie’s auction. All examined with depth and nuance.

This episode contains a wonderful segment with associate editor Kristopher Fraser about “The Return of Hood by Air.” Fashion Reverie’s managing editor Carl Ayers does a thorough job explains what Pre-Fall means in the fashion industry and to consumers in his segment “What is Pre-Fall”—he also details some Pre-Falll 2020 trends. And our celebrity style editor Tijana Ibrahimovic takes an interesting approach to stylish celebrities that have great style that have new fall 2020 television shows. Tijana’s segment “Celebrities with Great Style That Star in New Fall 2020 Series,” co-hosted by Cicily Daniels has lots of humor and charm.
