Editors’ Picks: Five Fashion Collaborations Taking Spring 2025 by Storm

This spring, cult classic, function-forward brands like The North Face, Barbour, and HOKA, are joining forces with brands like Cecilie Bahnsen, ERDEM, and Marni to fuse practicality with pretty. Other collaborations have their finger on the pulse of what is trending this season. A resurgence from one designer, and a collaboration with this spring’s hottest television show from another. Just in time for the vernal equinox, these collaborations will have you outfitted in the season’s best trends.

Image courtesy of The North Face x Cecilie Bahnsen

Cecilie Bahnsen X The North Face

Juxtaposition is always in fashion, and it has the best shock value when it comes to fashion collaborations. Take The North Face, an American outdoor clothing brand that has been long known for its weather-wicking gear best suited for bracing the elements. In contrast, Cecilie Bahnsen is a Danish womenswear brand known for using hyper-feminine, romantic, and delicately designed pieces. This spring, the two brands are blending The North Face’s expert technology with Bahnsen’s feminine flair for a delightfully fun collection of weather-proofed jackets, flouncy dresses, and accessories.

Self-portrait x Christopher Kane

Sometimes, a fashion collaboration has the power to resurrect a beloved brand. After nearly two years since Christopher Kane closed the doors to his namesake brand, he is teaming up with London’s Self-portrait for a collection that feels very “Kane.” Inspiration was evidently gleaned from Christopher Kane’s spring 2007 collection. The color palette takes a much more muted approach than that of yesteryear, but harkens back to similar silhouettes and textures from 2007.

Marni X HOKA

The sportswear fashion girlies are excited about this one! Marni X Hoka is a shining example of function and fashion. Italian luxury brand Marni is not one to shy away from boldness. Bright colors, graphics, and textural contrasts are all hallmarks. Hoka, similarly playful in color and design, is a cult favorite for athletic sneaker lovers. The co-designed BONDI B3LS sneakers, will be available in four colorways: Poinciana (red), Bracken (charcoal), Tourmaline (blue), and Straw (beige).

Barbour x ERDEM

Going back to juxtaposition in fashion, we see it again with this splendid joining of English brands ERDEM and Barbour. ERDEM is another hyper-romantic womenswear brand created known for an emphasis on intricate floral and lacy motifs. Barbour is a classic, iconically British heritage brand known for its foolproof, weatherproof outerwear; namely the waxed cotton jacket.

In this collaboration, ERDEM’s feminine silhouettes introduce themselves to Barbour’s classic jacket. The collection features playful and peplum versions of the beloved British closet staple.

The White Lotus X CAMILLA

Every year that a new season of “The White Lotus” is released, it inspires quite a chorus of discussion regarding the mystery of the given season, but perhaps this season, the discourse will see an uptick in conversations about fashion, thanks to this collaboration. Australian swimwear brand CAMILLA partnered with the show team to create a collection of beachwear, fit for Thailand, where the show takes place this season. The CAMILLA team tapped Lezio Lopes, the Sydney-based artist behind the famous opening credits in seasons one and two.

Editors’ Pick: A Ladies’ Winter Wonderland of Fashion

When Winter rolls in, it’s not just about staying warm—it’s about looking effortlessly chic while keeping the chill out. Whether you’re sipping hot cocoa spiked with Baileys at a ski lodge in a cashmere sweater and a glittering mini skirt or making heads turn on the slopes in a Moncler puffer–or a slightly more affordable alternative, every cold-weather moment is an opportunity for a fashion statement. For this article Fashion Reverie has pulled together everything that screams après-ski glam–because nothing says ‘I belong here’ quite like a perfectly curated winter ensemble.

And let’s not forget the non-athletic Winter moments we all crave. If a winter party is on your docket this season, we know just what you should wear–a glittering dress and some heels. For a snowy walk—because we must romanticize our lives—a cozy coat draped over a creamy sweater set and some jeans will do the trick. And when it is time for a girls’ night, embrace your playful, feminine side with a satin dress and a stunning pink feather coat from Nana Jacqueline. Winter, darling, is not a season—it’s a style showcase.

The Ski Lodge: Jenni Kayne Cashmere ($195) Fran Skirt ($158)

For the coziest and chicest outfit to wear by the fireside, Fashion Reverie recommends a pair the Jenni Kayne ‘everyday sweater’ with Show me your Mumu’s sparkling, fur faux skirt. This outfit adds the perfect amount of drama to your ski lodge look, without doing too much. Complete the look with your choice of footwear. Fashion Reverie recommends you keep it cozy with a pair of warm shearling-lined boots or channel a Park Avenue meets Aspen-vibe with chic flats that prove you just came for these snowy pictures and the lodge’s spa.

Hitting the Slopes: Alo Winter Long Sleeve ($128) Half Days Soft Ski Pants ($285)

Yes, you could drop $4,000 on a Moncler ski suit and pray no one spills their spiked hot chocolate on you—but let’s be real, looking fabulous doesn’t have to come with a mortgage payment. Instead, start with Alo Yoga’s winter long sleeve, a sleek, moisture-wicking base layer that keeps you warm without the bulk (because Michelin Man chic is not the goal). Pair it with Halfdays’ Emma softshell ski pants, the perfect blend of stretch, and warmth—whether you’re carving down black diamonds or just posing for Instagram pics.

Winter Party: Aqua X Wicked Bubble ($118) Penely Sandal ($119)

Winter may be cold, but your outfit doesn’t have to be. Pair the flirty bubble dress from the Aqua x Wicked Collection with Vince Camuto’s pink feather heels for a fiery Winter party look. From the voluminous silhouette of the dress and fluffy feathers on your toes, nothing says I’m the main character more. Just be sure to grab a luxe faux fur stole before stepping outside—because elegance is freezing, but at least you’ll look stunning while you shiver.

Winter Walk: Vermont Sherpa Wrap ($280) Veronica Beard Flare Jeans ($298)

A winter walk is less about exercise and more about pretending you’re a born-again snow angel. In this outfit, the Veronica Beard flare jeans bring just the right amount of vintage cool, elongating your legs while still being practical (read: they fit over your warmest socks when the temperature hits freezing).

After putting on a cozy sweater, bundle yourself in the Vermont Sherpa wrap coat, a rich burgundy-brown dream that looks like it was made for strolling through a snow-dusted town while contemplating something poetic. Finish the look with a pair of warm, snow-ready boots—because as glamorous as this walk may be, no one looks chic slipping on ice.

Girls’ Night: Nana Jacqueline Pink Feather Coat ($510) Reformation Pike Satin Dress ($248)

The Nana Jacqueline Angelica feather coat is pure, unfiltered drama—the kind that turns sidewalks into runways and makes every entrance feel like a movie moment. Underneath, the Reformation Pike satin dress brings the perfect balance of sultry and sophisticated, because what’s a night out without a little satin shine? Finish the look with the Vince Camuto Penely pink feather heels from earlier because you might as well go all out.

Editors’ Picks: Seven Small, Luxurious (and affordable!) Stocking Stuffer Ideas

The bells are ringing, the stars are twinkling, and cars are now officially carrying Christmas trees back to their respective yearly positions by the fireplace. In other words, it’s officially the Christmas season! As we enter the holiday season, treat your loved ones (or yourself) to a simple luxury added to a stocking.

From beautiful candles and lip balms to luxurious skincare and even a beautiful scarf for him—Fashion Reverie has you covered. Each of the elegant and sophisticated items are sure to make everyone shout with joy as these stuffers are pulled out of stockings on Christmas Day.

Nanor Collection’s Travel Candles–$20

Fashion Reverie knows there is nothing quite like opening and lighting a fresh candle on Christmas Day. If you happen to be traveling this holiday season, Nanor made it even easier with a beautiful travel collection of candles. With each product made out of soy wax, cruelty-free, and entirely sustainable, it’s impossible to not fall for their sweet scents.

Delight Naturals–$4

Another fantastic and easy option to add to a Christmas stocking is an all-natural set of chapsticks. This is excellent for the winter season when chapped lips become as common as family fights over spiked eggnog. Fashion Reverie’s favorite? Delight Naturals! A female-owned brand with holiday-themed scents to help us feel extra cozy this season.

Michael Andrews Bespoke Black and White Polka Dot Men’s Scarf –$129

When it comes to the holidays, The Night Before Christmas isn’t the only story circulating around. If you’re a man, or happen to be shopping for a man, how many times have you been told that men are impossible to shop for? And look, the ones out in their tool shed all day might pose a bit of trouble … but for the fashionable gentleman in your life, this scarf from Michael Andrews Bespoke is tres magnifque!

J.R. LIGGETT’S Lip Butter in Cocoa–$5.99

Similar to Fashion Reverie’s love of dropping a Delight Naturals chapstick into the stocking of a loved one … there’s something particularly cozy about a good lip butter, too. With many large cosmetic brands dropping cocoa-scented items, we’ve returned to our roots with our favorite lip butter from J.R. Liggett’s collection. Not only is the chocolate-y aroma perfect for this time of year, but the rich texture of the butter is perfect to use as a lip mask if you live in a cold climate.

Velvet Caviar’s Phone Case Collaboration with Peanuts–$25-$45

Please tell us we aren’t the only ones looking forward to sitting down and watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas”for us, this is the definition of the holiday spirit, and it seems that phone case brand Velvet Caviar agrees. Based out of Brooklyn, New York, the creative phone case company just debuted a collaboration for the Christmas season with our favorite Charlie Brown characters.

Coach Cherry Purse Charms–$95

As Jane Birkin-ifying your purses goes viral, so does the idea of bag charms. Coach snatched onto this idea with the too-cute idea of glittery cherry charms. Whether you wrap it up and set it into the booty of the stocking or attach it to the stocking itself, this little gift is a sure-fire winner for the fashionista girls.

Estee Lauder Gift Set– $90

There is truly nothing better to unwrap during the holidays than a beautiful holiday gift set. Not only does purchasing a luxurious item during this time of the year save you money, the packaging feels like a gift of its own. Fashion Reverie’s personal favorite is the gift set from Estee Lauder. While the total value would normally be $625, now you can get it for $90!

Editors’ Pick: Christopher John Rogers X J.Crew Capsule Collection

There’s nothing quite like a collaboration between a designer and a clothing company known for more affordable options.  But it’s even better when the crossover causes both to step out of their comfort zone. This is exactly what happened with the collaboration between J.Crew and Christopher John Rogers (CJR). As many fashion lovers know, CJR is a bold and colorful designer, while J. Crew often colors inside the lines and sticks to more classic items. Due to this contrast, the capsule collection that debuted just earlier November is a stunning creative example of what an amazing collaboration can help to happen.

While it’s easy to note that collaborations are a dime a dozen, and Fashion Reverie has already rounded up our favorites for fall 2024; this one is unique and special. J.Crew is often timid when it comes to cross-pollinating with other designers or brands. However, as the brand is trying to revamp their image, we’ve been seeing collabs and crossovers pop-up with them more often.

Images courtesy of J.Crew

For Rogers, collaborations are just another form of creativity. In 2021 CJR would create a capsule collection for Target and in 2023 CJR would create a collection of eyewear with Andy Wolf that would sell out in a matter of hours. Now with a J.Crew collaboration under their belt, it seems everyone from all walks of life can be a CJR girl.

Many of the items in the colorful collection are perfect for mixing and matching, and with a price range of $50 to $550 it’s more affordable and accessible to the average fashionista. Fashion Reverie’s personal favorites are CJR’s revamped versions of J.Crew classics, along with statement pieces that prove that maximalism is here to stay.

Editor’s Picks: Fashion Reverie’s Favorite Three Collaborations and Innovations for Fall 2024

Collaborations between brands are a dime a dozen these days from Fendi partnering with SKIMS and Dolce & Gabbana even going as far as to partner with Smeg Appliances. Sometimes these partnerships which may be designed to bring in a new audience to the brand make as little sense as our societal habit of saying, “ya, no” as a negative. Yet, despite the chaotic partnerships and collaborations that are constantly popping up on social media, there are always a few each season that make our hearts beat a little faster.

This fall, these are the ones that make Fashion Reverie tingle with excitement. Not only are these collaborations innovative, they are also guaranteed to be stunning.

Splendid X CellaJaneBlog

When it comes to soft, sophisticated fall 2024 fashion, the clothing brand Splendid often comes to mind for fashion enthusiasts. This fall, even more so as the brand recently announced a collaboration with lifestyle content creator Becky Hillard of the blog Cella Jane. Launched on September 18th, the collaboration has created thirty-three new items in an earth-tone color palette to mix and match outfits like a capsule collection.

Editors’ Pick: Seven Fall 2024 Ladies’ Fragrances

With days getting shorter, leaves falling and the air becoming crisp as we transition to autumn, it’s also time to transition our scent preferences. As beautiful as a soft floral can be in spring and summer, the impact of the scent is less worldly when it comes to autumn. Instead, true fashionistas have learned to embrace warmer notes in their perfumes to evoke a sense of comfort and coziness when it comes to the colder seasons.

While finding the perfect perfume each season can feel a bit like an art form, the right scent will uplift your mood and become one with the memories you make this season. If get overwhelmed by the perfume aisle in beauty stores, Fashion Reverie has prepared a sensory feast for you. Below are some of Fashion Reverie’s favorite fall fragrances. Some are earthy and light, others spicy and sweet, but whatever tickles your fancy (or should we say nose?) will certainly remind you of fall.

Chris Collins Discovery Set $50

For those of you a bit unsure about your signature scent for fall, the Chris Collins Discovery set is a great collection to grab. Built around eight of their bestselling fragrances, the mini bottles allow you to find the best scent for you. From the spicy multidimensional scent of African Roobis to the light, airy scent of Citrus Grandis you might walk away from this set with more than one favorite.

Replica Autumn Vibes by Maison Margiela $85

If you are in the market for a more woody and mysterious fragrance Autumn Vibes from Maison Margiela’s Replica scent collection is a great choice. With notes of berries, cardamom, and moss the fall perfume perfectly encapsulates the feeling of walking through the woods as the autumnal light cascades onto you.

House of Bo Bombon Parfum $365

If you’re desperate for a rich, luxurious, and fiery scent to bring you into the fall, then this is the one you should purchase. Described by the perfumiar as ‘hedonistic,’ and ‘self-indulgent,’ the notes of cognac make sense and acknowledge the rich flavor of the fall season.

Nest Vanilla Bourbon Perfume $92

An easy scent to gravitate to when it comes to the colder seasons, Fashion Reverie discovered it’s the mixture of vanilla, bourbon, jasmine, and brown sugar that creates this timeless and clean scent. With the jasmine notes balancing the darker, spicier scents in this perfume, it becomes almost seasonless. Perhaps it will be your next year-round scent?

Outremer Vanille $24

When it comes to seasonal scents, don’t get too stressed about prices. Outremer’s Vanille scent is the perfect affordable option. Scented like a rich, spiced vanilla and light as air when sprayed onto your skin, this perfume is an excellent option when dabbling in finding a signature fall scent.

Angeli di Firenze $100

This eau de cologne is a symphony of different scents. Created in tribute by the Italian brand Santa Maria Novella for the Mud Angels who escaped to Florence after the 1966 flood, this scent is filled with symbolism. Heavy with autumnal Italian scents, there’s a layer of citrus, vanilla, musk and black current that lends to a sophisticated fall scent.

Images courtesy of the respective brands

The 7 Virtues Cherry Ambition $94

Cherry blossom fragrances are most often associated with springtime, but when this scent from 7 Virtues is paired with sandalwood, amber, and cognac, you’ll receive an overpowering scent designed to ignite a feeling of romance and bravery. Different from other perfume companies, the 7 Virtures also upholds their beliefs by donating part of the proceeds to menstrual equity in Noth America.

Editors’ Pick: The Best Men’s Fall 2024 Ad Campaigns

The start of meteorological fall is defined as right after Labor Day; however, the fall solstice this year is officially September 22 at 8:43 a.m.  September has also long been described as the January of fashion, as that is when the fashion New Year starts with brands unveiling their ad campaigns for their fall and winter pieces that will carry into 2024, and Fashion Month begins marking the unveiling of next spring and summer’s collections.

This year’s campaign rollouts have been accompanied by some standout advertising work in menswear. Men’s retail sales are growing, as evidenced by Statista’s market forecast projecting the global menswear market will grow by 2.90 percent between 2024 and 2028 to a market volume of 643 billion dollars.

As menswear’s fashion market share grows, brands are coming up with creative ways to advertise their products for fall 2024. Fashion Reverie takes a closer look at some of the standout menswear campaigns for this season.

Bonobos

Bonobos has come a long way from being a men’s khaki brand. For fall 2024, the brand launched its “Fit is a Feeling” campaign, leaning into its history as an innovator of well-fitting men’s khakis. The brand was originally founded by Andy Dunn and Brian Spaly when they were students at Stanford Business School and wanted to find a well-fitting khaki.

The new campaign features videos of guys going about their day, riding bikes, or walking the streets in Bonobos blazers, shirts, and pants. Bonobos took the approach of having the campaign reflect “regular people,” hyping up the relatability factor. In the video, the narrator says, “When pants fit, the world sees it.” The brand plans to run the campaign through the holiday season and beyond.

New Era

New Era hats played on nostalgia for the brand’s fall 2024 campaign, channeling the brand’s 100-year heritage. The fall 2024 campaign also marked the debut of their new creative director, Dao-Yi Chow’s first collection.

Chow is best known to the fashion industry and the streetwear crowd as one of the co-founders of Public School alongside Maxwell Osborne. Chow and Osborne also served as creative directors of DKNY for three years.

In the old school spirit, the campaign was shot in black and white and prominently features New Era’s longtime best-selling 59Fifty cap. Although playing on nostalgia, the campaign featured next-generation talent as models, including internet personality Carlisle Aikens, model Fisher Smith, rugby player Jonah Lowe, and Chow’s son, Idriys Ali-Chow.

Allen Edmonds

Allen Edmonds continues its ultra-luxury push with its Reserve Collection, priced between $800 and $3000. Their fall 2024 campaign stars none other than male supermodel Sean O’Pry.

In the campaign, O’Pry is featured admiring the shoe, which is under glass, like it’s some sacred artifact in a museum. The imagery adds to the allure, rareness, and how coveted these shoes are. The new campaign is titled “An Exhibition of Distinction,” and at $3000, those should be treated like rare pieces in a museum.

Amiri

Everybody wants to go to Hollywood for Amiri’s fall 2024 campaign. The luxury menswear brand’s latest campaign cast rising actors Ashton Sanders and Seth Lee, along with K-pop star Sunwoo from The Boyz, as the stars of its latest campaign.

The campaign was shot at The Palace Theater in Los Angeles as the brand’s way of merging fashion and film and paying homage to Hollywood’s influence on the new collection. The entire campaign had the vibe of actors getting ready to go on stage or prepare for an industry film screening.

Gant

Matt Dillon might be best known as one of Hollywood’s leading men, but now he can also add Gant campaign star to his resume. For their fall 2024 campaign, Gant cast Dillon, along with music group Infinity Song, the Throwing Fits podcaster, and models Tony Ozhan and Eleonore Jeanne, for their ads. The collection plays up Gant’s preppy and workwear pieces, where all the models were photographed in a set that looked like a study. With this collection, Gant is also celebrating its 75th anniversary, paying homage to its heritage.

Dior

Shall we dance? Dior thinks we should.

The brand’s fall 2024 menswear campaign is on pointe, no pun intended. The brand dared to go where no menswear brand had gone before and dressed its models in ballet flats for their fall 2024 campaign, highlighting the brand’s ballet flats for men.

The collection, inspired by acclaimed ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, features not only the required ballet shoes adapted for ready-to-wear but also Dior’s signature Oblique suit, outerwear, and dance gear references, including ribbed knits, robe coats, and wool jumpsuits and shorts.

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton is taking us to the Wild Wild West for fall 2024. Creative director Pharrell’s latest collection for the brand is cowboy-themed, looking like a remake of “Brokeback Mountain” with all the costumes done by Louis Vuitton.

The campaign follows the same theme as the fall 2024 runway show, which used an Old Hollywood Western-inspired backdrop for its set. While Western style is nothing new, Louis Vuitton’s flavor on it is unique.
