Fashion Reverie keeps its readers informed from the front lines of fashion to the front row. This week Fashion Reverie’s celebrity fashion sightings transports its readers from Los Angeles to St. Paul, Minnesota and across the big pond to Monte Carlo.

Katy Perry seems to be everywhere these days!! She is wearing the microphone out at the 2015 Starkey Hearing Foundation’s So The World May Hear Gala at the St. Paul RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota. (You heard me right, Minnesota.) Whether on a red carpet in Hollywood or looking fantastic in Moschino in Europe, Katy Perry never disappoints. She looks great in Sutra coral and white opal earrings and ring at the event’s special concert.

Australian Supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret’s model Miranda Kerr looks casual and sophisticated at the same time in this lacy peach ZIMMERMAN dress. Miranda also wore a Borgioni diamond and 18k yellow gold ring and a Le Vian Chocolate diamond and 14k rose gold ring while attending the opening of the ZIMMERMANN Melrose Place flagship store in Los Angeles.

Where has “The Hills” Stephanie Pratt been hiding these days? Well, apparently Pratt has been incognito at all. For the last three years she has been a cast member of the UK hit reality show, “Made in Chelsea.” Recently, Stephanie Pratt was spotted her a party with her brother Spencer and his wife and fellow “The Hill” cast mate Heidi Montag in Los Angeles. Stephanie stuns in a blue shift dress with a floral applique embellishment detail.

Stephanie was actually in LA hosting the launch of MeMe London, a British jewelry and accessories company she co-partners. Look for the interview Fashion Reverie just conducted with Stephanie!!

It was another royal wedding last weekend, but not the Windsor type. This civil wedding ceremony took place in Monte Carlo. It was the wedding of Beatrice Borromeo and Pierre Casiraghi.

Who are they, you might ask? Pierre Casiraghi is the son of Princess of Caroline of Monaco. Pierre Casiraghi married his long-time girlfriend, Italian socialite Beatrice Borromeo in a civil ceremony on July 25. Pierre sister, Charlotte looked easy breezy in a spring 2015 Missoni orange/red dress.

Though it was a week of few celebrity fashion sightings, there are always a few celebrities out and about wearing interesting clothing and accessories to keep our loyal readers’ appetites whetted. The doldrums of hot, humid days doesn’t keep jet setting celebs from attending red carpets, events, launches or just puttering around major fashion capitals.

It is amazing that when Katy Perry hit the airwaves with her breakout hit “I Kissed a Girl” she would turn into a style icon. With hair to match the color of her new fragrance “Mad Potion,” Katy Perry looked particularly stylish in Sutra blue topaz and diamond earrings and a Yoko London pearl ring at the launch party of “Mad Potion” in Los Angeles at the Magic Castle.

Zoe Kravitz looks very relaxed and chilled wearing the Dylanlex “Gia” necklace in a photo posted to Instagram. The shades are cool, the necklace is stunning, but the fur coat in July? Zoe, rethink the coat!!

We don’t usually do celebrity fashion sightings on male celebs, but when Fashion Reverie was sent this very dressed down picture of Nick Jonas, we just couldn’t resist posting!! Though the actor/singer may be dressed down the Serapian Milano holdall bag he is carrying has a masculine sophistication. We are not sure about the summer short crewcut.

Although we may be in the doldrums of a hot, humid summer, celebrities are still lighting up the red carpet at movie premieres, fashion events, and launch parties. From New York Fashion Week: Men’s Spring 2016 to Comic Con 2015 to the 2015 Espy Awards, the red carpet beamed up a lot of fantastic looks this week. And Fashion Reverie keeps you front and center, detailing all the looks from some of your favorite celebs.

The inaugural season of New York Fashion Week: Men’s (NYFWM) has not been without its share of controversy—a lot of the European fashion press didn’t bother to cross the Big Pond—but that didn’t keep some celebs from strutting their stuff at NYFWM. That said; Gabrielle Union and her hubby Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade brought their version of LA fashion to the red carpet at NYFWM. Gabrielle looked stunningly appropriate in her blue and black striped ensemble with crop top. Hubby Dwayne should rethink the hat. We know Pharrell Williams made that style popular, but dude it doesn’t look good on every one. You guys are a fabulous couple but leave the pose for the Atlanta hair shows.

“The Notebook’s” Rachel McAdams looks chic and sophisticated at the 2015 Espy Awards in a pink carnation suit form Cristiano Burani. Although this look did have more effect on the runway, McAdams still pulls the look off.

Britney Spears shows off her curves in a silver metallic fringed cocktail dress by Davidson Zanine at the 2015 Espy Awards. Though she looks fresh and current, did Britney forget how to do the crossover front leg red-carpet pose? Hey Miss Britney, that pose would have really looked good this time around!!

Now, talk about giving you red-carpet sexy glamour, Zendaya really knows how to serve it up!! Zendaya looks fresh, current, and fashion forward in a spring 2015 Lie Sang Bong blazer, skirt and bustier at the 4^th Annual BeautyCon Los Angeles Festival.

What would a celebrity fashion sighting be without a Kardashian? Recently single Kourtney Kardashian looks comfortable and laid back in a Kings of Cole Skull Sweater in cream. The fashionista paired the sweater with a short skirt for a California-cool look.

“Thor’s” Jamie Alexander made heads turn on the red carpet at Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic Con Party in an Elisabetta Franchi gold metallic skirt. Now, you know the stylist did a good job when the dress looks just as good, if not better, on the celeb as it does on the runway!!

Christina Milian gives a whole new meaning to crop top in these images of her hanging out in Los Angeles. Christina is setting off her wonderful curves with this black, beige, and yellow engraved leather messenger bag with studded detail from Kzeniya.

Christina Milian is really stunning in person. Fashion Reverie editors were sitting near her in the front row at the Michael Costello spring 2015 show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in NYC.

“The Walking Dead’s” Sonequa Martin-Green wore a pair of black high-waisted pants with bow detail from the Elisabetta Franchi fall 2015 Collection while attending both AMC, ET and Tumblr’s ‘Fear of the Walking Dead’ Event and the premiere party for Skybound Entertainment’s ‘AIR’ during Comic-Con International 2015. This is the one time that casual looks from the runway transferred well to red carpet. But, Elisabetta Franchi’s collections always do!!

Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of June 29, 2015

Summer blockbuster movie red carpets are a great place to show off the latest spring/summer 2015 fashions. And this week, celebrities strutted their stuff at the premiere of “Magic Mike XXL” and “Terminator Genisys.” Add the 2015 BET Awards to the roundup, and this is a week of summer glam and glitz.

Though Kim Kardashian wasn’t posing on a red carpet this week, she certainly caused all the men, and maybe a few women, to pause with her bodacious cover of the July issue of Rolling Stone magazine. It’s all anchors aweigh in a Guess double-scoop striped tee. Talk about two double scoops of ice cream, yum yum!!

Speaking of the Kardashians, Caitlyn Jenner, though no longer member of the K clan, was spotted at Gay Pride in NYC wearing an Alexander Wang white pencil skirt. Now did she wear it better than Dorothy Wang of E!’s “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” at the Tinder Box Launch Party a week earlier? You be the judge.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum still has her dancer’s body and she shows it off to great effect at the “Magic Mike XXL” premiere in London. The white form-fitting dress with black beaded embellishments was a great choice for the “Witches of East End” actress. And the Le Vian earrings added that very special touch.

Janet Jackson came out of a self-imposed hiding for the 2015 BET Awards. Dubai seems to be doing her well. She looked fresh and fetching in a white ensemble with Le Vian bangles.

Nasty Gal may have had a minor scandal when they claimed that Taylor Swift was wearing their white jumpsuit at the 2016 Billboard Awards—Swift was really wearing Balmain. No worries, pop icon Nicki Minaj looks hot and sassy in a Nasty Gal denim bikini top and high-waisted denim bikini bottoms in behind-the-scenes images from her new video shoot “All Eyes on You.” Somebody say “Grrr.”

Ballet dancer turned actress Amanda Schull looked stunning in an Elisabetta Franchi hot red long-sleeved, V-neck jumpsuit with pleated details at the Saturn Awards. This former San Francisco Ballet dancer is letting no grass grow under her since she moved from toe shoes to red-carpet heels.

Former supermodel Molly Sims of “Vegas” fame is showing off all the curves in this silhouette-enhancing grey and black dress with lace illusions at the premiere of “Ted2” at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. And though some fashion pundits contend that the celebrity proliferation in the fashion industry has outlived its purpose, the plethora of fall/winter 2015 campaigns garnished by celebrities from Cher, Pharrell Williams, and Katy Perry to Anthony Kiedis, Willow Smith, Rihanna, and Michelle Alessandro seems to keep piling up.

That said; Fashion Reverie, true to form, keeps its readers informed of all things fashion, from the front lines to the front row. And whether celebs are looking great on the red carpet or should go back to the drawing board and hire another stylist, you will hear about it first from Fashion Reverie.

At the Pasquale Bruni Secret Garden launch event, Dita stunned all onlookers in an aquamarine form-fitting silk cocktail dress with Bruni bejeweled aquamarine necklace to match.

Although there was lots of great fashion to go around at the 2015 Tony Awards, there are always more great celebrity fashion sightings to come. No one can quite measure up to Jennifer Lopez in Valentino Haute Couture or all the glamorous ladies of the Broadway stage in Zac Posen; still, in a culture that is obsessed with celebrity fashion celebs always dress to the nines for red-carpet appearances whether it is a major photo opportunity at an awards event or a magazine party or movie premiere.

This week all heads paused and smiled delightfully as Sandra Bullock looked fit and fabulous at the movie premiere of “Minions” at Odeon Leicester Square in London. Bullock looked absolutely stunning in a black mini dress with asymmetrical-styled peplum top accessorized with a Jack Vartanian black diamond bracelet.

What better way to get dressed up for a party than to have Guess dress you all up, particularly when it is a Guess and Vanity Fair Summer Soiree. Olivia Culpo looks cool and collected in a long white dress. While gal pals Leigh Lezark of “Misshapes” and DJ Chelsea Leyland really did the brand proud in a Marciano white Evette fit and flare dress and Guess Ana gingham dress with Guess Cielo heels to match.

Is Laverne Fox everywhere, or is that just my imagination? Recently the star of “Orange Is the New Black” was spotted at the Orangecon Fan Event in NYC. Cox was sizzling in a tight black skirt, knotted top, and black leather coat. She set the ensemble off with the “Hendrix” necklace by Dylanlex. Orange may be the new black but at this event Laverne Cox demonstrated that the new black is whatever she is wearing. Now that is what I am talking about!!

The 2015 Tony Awards Celebrity Fashion Sightings

Another award ceremony, I bet you thought that was over months ago? Not!! There is always another award show that gives celebrities a chance to get all dolled up in the latest red-carpet fashion. That said; this time of the year most of the red carpet moments seem to happen on the East Coast.

The 2015 Tony Awards hosted from Radio City Music Hall by Broadway veterans Kristin Chenowith and Alan Cummings gave celebrities and the fashion industry an extraordinary opportunity to flaunt garments that demonstrated spring 2015 fashion trends from big floral prints to high slits to metallic fibers. Also, this season there was a surprising smattering of fashion industry professionals—Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Schaffer, Joan Smalls, Gigi Haddad—scattered among Tony nominees, Broadway royalty and red-carpet regulars.

Zac Posen was the hands-down designer of choice for many red-carpet arrivals with the Calvin Klein Collection following a close second. True to form, Fashion Reverie picked some of the best looks for the 2015 Tony Awards for our readers’ pleasure.

Floral prints were all over the red carpet at the 2015 Tony Awards and this continuing trend seemed to do some of the 2015 Tony nominees proud. Best Actress in a musical revival nominee Vanessa Hudgins looked appropriately relaxed and breezy in a Naeem Khan big floral-printed halter frock. She would do “Gigi” proud.

Though Patricia Clarkson was on trend in an Alexander McQueen big floral print, the overall effect was a bit matronly for the “Elephant Man” Tony nominee. And Helen Mirren looked resplendent in a Badgley Mischka white form-fitting gown with mermaid train and floral lacy sleeves to match. Age aint nothing but a number for the 61-year old star of “The Audience.”

Zac Posen ruled the red carpet of the 2015 Tony Awards. Though Fashion Reverie is not in love with all the Zac Posen choices, Kristin Chenowith, Jennifer Grey, and Bernadette Peters were stunning in Zac Posen. Debra Messing was another matter. Though not a bad choice, the eggplant colored cocktail dress paled in comparison to the other Posen frocks.

Jennifer Lopez really stole the show on this red carpet. She looked ravishing in Valentino Haute Couture with a Harry Kotlar diamond bracelet. And Lopez’s new coif adds to her discovery of the Fountain of Youth. Is she really 46?

From Anna Wintour with daughter Bee in tow to a bevy of fashion models, the fashion industry was front and center at the 2015 Tony Awards. Joan Smalls killed it in a Givenchy floral print frock, showing just the right amount of leg. Kendall Jenner was pretty in pink in a Calvin Klein Collection cocktail mini dress. And Gigi Haddad stunned in Prabal Gurung eggshell column gown.

Amanda Seyfried not only graced the June cover of Vogue, she also graced us with her presence on the red carpet wearing an Oscar de la Renta gold metallic and black lace cocktail dress. Seyfried topped her look off with earrings and ring from Tiffany & Co.

Gretchen Mol was va va voom in a Sophie Theallet black gown. Ashley Green’s of “Twilight” fame choice of Jason Wu was a slight misstep. And Tony nominee Carey Mulligan’s choice of a maroon Balenciaga gown was not silhouette enhancing or red carpet worthy. The look made the “Skylight” nominee look a little lost in translation. Better luck next time Carey!!

Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of May 12, 2015

OK, one of the biggest red carpet events on the East Coast, The 2015 Met Gala, may be over, but there are still lots of red carpet and celebrity fashion sightings to go around. A the television networks end their regular season and are getting primed to introduce new pilots for the fall season, the landscape is abundant with plenty of red carpets celebrating the end of the 2014/2015 season.

Jennifer Lopez looks resplendently vampish as she walked the red carpet at the “American Idol” XIV Grand Finale in a long gown made of sheer black lace with strategic panels, while wearing black hot pants underneath. She was beautifully accessorized in Jorge Adeler earrings and Le Vian ring. Though this was not one of Fashion Reverie’s favorite looks on Lopez, she still looks amazing at 45.

Julianne Hough is an accomplished dancer and actress, and she has the legs to prove it!! Hough not only brings “sexy back,” she keeps hearts all a flutter in sexy red number with a high slit. Hough was spotted in Le Vian diamond earrings and Sara Weinstock diamond ring while judging ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars”–Season 20–Week Nine.

Lots of teen girls and an equal amount of pubescent boys loved Olivia Holt on Disney’s XD series “Kickin It,” and she still adored on the Disney Channel’s “I Didn’t Do it.” At the LA premiere of Disney’s “Tomorrowland,” Holt wore a white short-sleeved cocktail with crystal detail from Elisabetta Franchi’s 2015 spring/summer Collection. And she looks all grown up!!

Bringing up the rear, but not literally, Portia Doubleday looks fetching in a décolletage-revealing white top with matching shorts at the New York Upfronts Party hosted by People and Entertainment Weekly at the Highline Hotel. . Her gold Greymer heels only add to the glamour.
