Fashion Reverie’s 2022 Oscar Red-Carpet Fashion Predictions

Well, we are a few days away from the 94th Academy Awards and we are learning more details. There will be three presenters, all ladies, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer, and Wanda Sykes. They will co-host the ceremony, unlike the past three years where the Academy Awards were held without hosts.

Halle Bailey, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kevin Costner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Jackson are just a few presenters we expect to see. The Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 27, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Even though we are not sure how many folks have seen movies that are nominated, we are sure a lot of people will tune in to watch the red carpet. What are some of the dresses we would like celebrities to wear for the biggest night in Hollywood? Fashion Reverie has some predictions.

Dior Spring 2022 Haute Couture Collection

Dior is a must at the Oscars; therefore, we picked a simple design with a twist. This white dress deserves a closer look with a beaded fishnet-like neckline. Kristen Stewart, nominated for an actress in a leading role in “Spencer” could pull this look off quite well.

Off-White High Fashion

Asymmetrical bodice extended into a plisse tulle skirt is a look perhaps someone like Jessica Chastain, who is nominated for “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.” should embrace. Because of the simple nude color of the fabric with some shades of what seems to be green, this gown is timeless and would look good on a redhead.

Fendi Spring 2022 Haute Couture

This gown is truly gorgeous and would be ideal for someone who could bring out some energy and shake up the classic, modest silhouette. Ariana DeBose would look perfect in it, especially spiced up with her a mohawk-inspired hairstyle.

Image courtesy of refinery29.com and lofficielbaltics.com

Chanel Haute Couture

Another brand we always see at the Oscars, so our best bet is Penelope Cruz, nominated for an actress in a leading role for “Parallel Mothers” will be wearing Chanel. She usually sticks to classic black and white or all black; however, we would dare Penelope to try a sheer, pastel yellow daisies dress. It would not be the usual chic approach but fun.

Images courtesy of Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images and the mirror.co.uk

Valentino

Olivia Colman, nominated for a leading actress for her role in “The Lost Daughter,” loves fashion. She plays with colors and shapes, so this Valentino look is a great fit. What would make a difference is Colman having bare shoulders, paired with light green opera gloves. Perfect, yet different.

Image courtesy of tomandlorenzo.com and the mirror.co.uk

Viktor & Rolf

This dress is for an already established celebrity whose talent overshadows any red-carpet gown. It is also photographable with bold color, embraces spring 2022, and is age appropriate that many women can feel comfortable wearing at any stage of her life. We would like to see Dame Judy Dench wear this red-carpet look, minus the unusual runway look of hunched shoulders. Dench is nominated for best supporting actress for her role in “Belfast.”

Images courtesy of latimes.com and fashionweekonline.com

Elie Saab

This Elie Saab collection had so many Oscar-worthy pieces; however, this gown has a lovely silhouette, and the fabric is so opulent. Now we know the fashion industry is trying to be all inclusive; however, to walk the carpet in this look, you must have a long, slim figure, and a bust size that won’t require a ton of “invisible” tape.  Fortunately for Elie Saab, Nicole Kidman is nominated for a leading role in “Being the Ricardos” and would look absolutely marvelous in Elie Saab.

Image courtesy of clarin.com and augustman.com

 Dior Men’s Tailoring collection

Javier Bardem is nominated for an actor in a leading role for “Being the Ricardos,” and it would be amazing to see him in Dior Men’s Tailoring collection. Dior Creative Director Kim Jones passionately continues to reinvent tailoring with a sense of a modern twist and even though we see most of the jackets on a slim body frame, Javier would bring some drama to it, quite literally.

Celebrities Embrace Spring 2022 Fashion Trends

While 2021 was all about coziness and comfort with a little more excitement around the holidays, the spring2022 season promises to bring sexy back!! While many are thinking “I better hit the gym,” others are considering making the shift from working from home “looks” of comfort and isolation. Fashion Reverie looks at spring 2022 trends and celebrities that are embracing them. From London and Paris to New York and Milan, this is what should be in your closet.

Micro Skirts

Low on the hips or cut to a strip that just about covers underpants, minis are back. However, for spring 2022 micro skirts are more welcoming to all shapes and sizes. So, show off those legs!!

A celebrity who knows how to rock a micro skirt is Dua Lipa. Here the singer is in a Versace sequin mini skirt with gold safety-pin detailing. The purple skirt with a shimmering green top and satin heels made heads turn!

Monochromatic Color

Color combinations on the runways and our favorite celebrities embracing color is simply too irresistible to pass. After all it is so much more fun mixing and matching bold color palettes. Perfect example, Zendaya showed up to Valentino’s Pink PP Collection, which was all about pink and monochromatic looks, in pink from head to toe. Completely on theme, Zendaya wore a bright fuchsia blazer and pants embellished with floral appliqués.  Add to all that pink, pink pumps, and purse to match.

Reveal and Seduce

Super sheer, super tight, and super provocative. One very important piece of advice, nice underwear is a must. Now, you already know how a typical sheer dress looks but actress Kristen Stewart took it to a different level by wearing a daring Chanel gown featuring a sheer, see-through bodice that extended into something like o a ballet skirt. This was a classy way to embrace this see-through diaphanous trend.

Crop Tops and Cut-outs

Did this trend ever leave? Not really, so it should be easy to dig out a few of those crop tops or cut-out garments from your closet. Combine tops with low-rise jeans, some jewelry or a scarf. These combinations may prevent you from going inside a church, but so be it.

As far as dresses with cut-outs, just make sure everything stays in place. Olivia Culpo covered all the trends in a “somewhat” revealing Giambattista Valli gown with a sheer white skirt, showing off the underside of her breasts. Are you confident enough to embrace this look?

Stripes

Big stripes, skinny stripes or in your face stripes, all are on trend for spring 2022. Here is an old trick you might consider, horizontal stripes can make you look thinner. This is because they seem to fill space. On the contrary, vertical stripes can elongate your figure and make you look taller.

Ahead of this trend, thanks to the one and only Jean-Paul Gaultier, the stripe trend has continued. Do that effect, Julia Fox loves stripes, horizontal and diagonal. She was channeling the signature look of the house’s perfume bottles with her sheer and striped bodycon dress. Her curves are made for this look.

Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of February 28, 2022

In just a few weeks, it will be spring. And in case you haven’t noticed, celebrity red carpets are becoming more frequent with more and more of our favorite celebrities.

This week’s celebrity fashion sightings transports our viewers to the 2022  Film Independent Spirit Awards, the BAFTA’s EE Rising Star party, and the premiere of “The Batman” in New York City. True to form, Fashion Reverie always brings its readers the best line-up of top celebrities in the most stylish clothes.

Zoe Kravitz always sets hearts aflutter on the red carpet, and this week was no exception. The sexy black Oscar de la Renta gown with cat silhouettes on the bodice that Zoe Karvitz donned the premiere of “The Batman” in New York City. Now, talking about reflecting a film role on the red carpet. Zoe demonstrates that Catwoman rules.

We don’t get to see Venus Williams on the red carpet that often. But when she shows up, she makes a bold statement. Venus stunned in a purple sequined Dolce & Gabbana gown at “The Batman” premiere in New York City.

Image courtesy of Rebecca Sapp/Getty Images

At the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Kristen Stewart looked elegant and glamorous in a black Chanel gown with sheer ruffles.

Image courtesy of Axelle Baurer-Griffin/Getty Images

“The Handmaid’s Tale’s” Sydney Sweeney donned a silver floral Miu Miu dress at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards. Though the silver floral embellishments are attractive, this look is a bit matronly for the young actress.

Image courtesy of Mike Marsland/Getty Images

Top model Leomie Anderson showed how to wear a black red-carpet look at the recent BAFTA’s EE Rising Star party in a Roberto Cavalli sequined black gown with cutouts. Now that is how you wear cutouts.

This week was, without a doubt, Kristen Stewart’s week, particularly when it came to the red carpet. Kristen made quite a statement in a sequined black and white Chanel pant ensemble at the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Image courtesy of Frederick J. Brown/Getty Images

Bringing up the rear this week, British actress Lily James showed a crop-top ensemble can work on the red carpet. At the 2022 Film Independent Spirit Awards Lily wore a Del Core pink bralette crop top with statements sleeves with high-waisted black slaps. We also love the dark hair on her.

Screen Actors Guild Awards Red-Carpet Fashion Roundup

The 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG)Awards, held at the Barker Hangar in Los Angeles, kicked off the awards season in style with stars in some fabulous looks. The SAG awards, where award-winning film and television performances are celebrated, happen on the same night. With most the COVID-19 restrictions loosened, stars put their most fashionable foot forward. This award show did feel like a Golden Age of Acting bursting in color and shimmer.

Kerry Washington in Celia Kritharioti

Spring has sprung, well at least Kerry is signaling we are getting close to the spring season!!  Kerry looked great in a bright yellow dress with a flared mermaid skirt and one very tight bustier. Someone is in shape and ready for awards season!!

Image courtesy of Patrick T. Fallon

Helen Mirren in Dolce & Gabbana

Blush, pastel pink gives such a subtle feeling, but on Dame Helen Lydia Mirren overshadowed many looks on the SAG red carpet. Helen’s look was complete with floral embellishments and a blush headband with a matching mask.

Vanessa Hudgens in Atelier Versace

How would one describe Vanessa Hudgens look in one word? Sensational. Her gorgeous figure was on display in a daring, high-slit dress paired with Chopard jewelry and platform gold shoes.

Elle Fanning in Gucci

Always a favorite of Fashion Reverie, Elle Fanning looked elegant and on trend in a Gucci waistcoat with sequined black trousers. Hey folks, she is all grown up and know and demonstrates that you don’t have to wear a gown to look elegant.

Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton

A bright red patent bustier dress is a daring look and gives out confidence especially when the main accessory is a nose ring paired with an embellished cape.

Lady Gaga in Armani Privé

The star of “House of Gucci” impressed Fashion Reverie yet again with her sleek white custom gown. This is a sexy look emphasized with a gold bustier and accessorized beautifully with a hard-to-not notice Tiffany & Co. diamond necklace.

Sandra Oh in Carolina Herrera

We are not used to seeing Sandra Oh dressed so loudly, but times have changed. Sometimes, reinvention is a good thing.  And the metallic silver bow strap, A-line gown which was noticeable on an already exciting red carpet was just the reinvention needed.

Image courtesy of Patrick T. Fallon

Emilia Jones in Givenchy Haute Couture

Emilia Jones made a red-carpet statement in a simple black undergarment wrapped in a one shoulder haute couture. This look is obviously very intricate and embellished with a one-shoulder transparent gown with a high-slit.  The entire look was feminine and seductive.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith in Gareth Pugh

Bustiers and high slits seem to be trending on the SAG Awards red carpet. That said, the Smiths went for a more classic look.

Will Smith looked sharp with Jada on his arm with Jada donning a vintage, navy blue number which had a tight bodice and a voluminous skirt. She played with layering and added a simple long sleeve top underneath. Her necklace, which was a statement piece, completed the look.

Black Icons that Have Influenced Fashion and Style

Black History Month is almost moving into Women’s History Month. And although Fashion Reverie celebrate both months, these celebratory months a great occasion to involve fashion, especially celebrity fashion!

With the major fashion weeks around the world currently happening, Fashion Reverie thought this would be a great time to honor black celebrities we find that are stylish. Stars of color that are not only involved in fashion but are also the biggest trailblazers in their professions.

Beverly Johnson

Let’s start with the first African American model that graced the cover of American Vogue. Beverly Johnson later followed this first with the cover of French Elle. That was in the 1970s, so Beverly did not stop there. A model, actress, and businesswoman Beverly kept going and just recently Fashion Reverie witnessed her walking and closing the Bibhu Mohapatra fall 2022 show during New York Fashion Week, in a one-shoulder white gown with a black cape. Beverly dominated the runway.

Bevy Smith

This Fashion Queen from the Bravo’s “Fashion Queens” show and host of many different shows, Bevy now has a one-hour radio show on SiriusXM’s RadioAndy called “Bevelations” and is about to publish a book. Her background and road to success has been interesting and unusual, and full of ups and downs. But what is certain, is that Bevy Smith never stopped believing in herself.

Nick Cannon

The “Hey Nick, Hey Nick” tune from the “Nick Cannon Show” is undeniably very charming. Nick Cannon is also charming and has explored different styles, including wearing a turban style for a while. However, the result is absolutely the right fit, especially when it comes to the array of his suits. Now, his shoe collection deserves a whole separate article and Fashion Reverie includes that Nick Cannon once wore possibly the most expensive shoes in the world worth 2.2 million. The shoes were customized Tom Ford’s shoes diamond-encrusted by celebrity jeweler Jason Arasheben!

Grace Jones

This model, singer, actress, and icon’s style and allure was ahead of so many trends, some of which she even inspired. The androgynous movement in the 80s was influenced by her style and shall we say, attitude. Long earrings, cut-out dresses, capes, and headpieces adorn this star who never arrives quietly and will always be known for her avant-garde style.

Rihanna

Interestingly, Rihanna mentioned she draws fashion inspiration from Grace Jones. That said, Bad Girl Riri seems very in control of her image so it’s hard to imagine that anybody could inspire her. Rihanna effortlessly puts together unexpected pieces that simply melt onto her figure. Rihanna is a trend setter, a mogul, someone who knows “what works.”

Now that she is expecting with A$AP Rocky, Rihanna is completely reinventing her style and her pregnancy looks are super exciting!

Lil Nas X

Who would’ve thought that a hip-hop artist would embrace gender-fluid style? The times they are a’ changing. From his bold-colored suits, to pearl necklaces and painted nails, Lil Nas X demonstrates that the new masculinity is whatever you want it to be. Free your mind. Have we heard that before?

New York Fashion Week Fall 2022 Season Celebrity Roundup

Fashion Reverie was very anxious to see what would be coming down the runway for the fall season and it seems a lot of celebrities were too! There were some virtual shows, but runway strutting is back at New York Fashion Week (NYFW). You know what that means. Lots of posing, great street style, attendees hoping they will end up in the media, and of course Fashion Reverie gets to see who is in the front row. In that respect, the shows didn’t disappoint!!

Julia Fox

Well now we all know who Julia is, thanks Kanye!! She is Kanye’s muse, well at least was his muse for about six weeks. On the day their breakup was announced, Julia made her catwalk debut. She opened the LaQuan Smith’s fall 2022 show and made quite a commotion. She wore a black cut-out dress with oversized spiral earrings and matching bracelets. Let’s just say her make-up was a lot less dramatic than we have seen in Paris (lol), and her appearance brought lots of buzz to the show. We believe LaQuan will have lots of orders for that one dress, for sure!!

Olivia Palermo

She attended a few shows; however, this is the one that stood out.  At Jason Wu’s fall 2022 show, Olivia stood out in a floral dress nicely paired with metallic pink sandals with a flower choker.  This is a look anyone can pull off and for once she doesn’t look like she was there to just be photographed.

Drew Barrymore

She attended Christian Siriano’s fall 2022 show and was very friendly with everyone. She was posting on social media with Alicia Silverstone and carried Tika the Iggy “famous dog influencer.”

Now, back to her look. She wore a monochrome look, a red oversized suit made of two different fabrics.

Amelia Hamlin

Yes, Amelia is Lisa Rinna’s daughter and Scott Disick’s ex! Besides Disick drama Hamlin showed off a dramatic look at the LaQuan Smith’s fall 2022 show in a micro mini, sequined red turtleneck garment.

Front Row Celebs

Nicky Hilton Rothschild, Camila Coelho, Leonie Hanne, Chriselle Lim, Ashe Wilson, and Achieng Agutu wait for the PatBo fall 2022 show to begin. All the ladies represent different styles and tastes, so Fashion Reverie leave it up to you which look is your favorite.

At NYFW, of course there were a lot of different parties and separate events but THE party of NYFW was Daily Front Row turning 20! So, here are Fashion Reverie’s top favorite celebrity looks.

The cover model arrived in a mini, silver sparkly dress and she looked breathtaking. She attended with her supermodel bestie Sara Sampaio.

Valentine’s Day 2022 Celebrity Love

After a freezing January in some parts of the world, temperatures are temporarily heating up. And with Valentine’s Day is only a few days away, if temperatures are not so cold, that is a good thing. Love is in the air all around and the world of celebrities is no different.

Fashion Reverie has rounded up a few of our favorite celebrity moments of 2022 so far and we hope love keeps winning.

Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox

We are all familiar with this couple’s passion and love for each, so, it came as no surprise that the Machine Gun Kelly proposed on January 11, 2022. They have dated a little less than two years.

“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. … and then we drank each other’s blood.”

Need we say more? No, drinking each other’s blood is more than enough. They’ve proved their dedication.

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman

Well, it is difficult to pass Simon’s judging on” American Idol.” Passing his tests seems to be even more difficult in real life. However, he proved it is possible. Lauren Silverman turns out to be the one! After ten years of dating Cowell proposed. The public didn’t find out until this past January, but it seems he proposed on Christmas Eve 2021.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky

Though no engagement ring or marriage seems to be on the lips of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, the couple have confirmed that their passion and relationship is strong with Rihanna’s announcement of her pregnancy. Though longtime friends, wagging tongues have speculated for some time that this duo were more than friends.

And now Rihanna’s expanding waistline is the proof in the pudding. “Having a baby is something she was never focused on, but being with Rocky opened her up to the idea,” an inside source added. “Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own timetable, and having a baby is no different.”

The insider continued, “They’re just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”

Josh Duhamel and Audra Mari

On the Audra Mari’s 28th birthday it was announced on Josh’s Instagram that the couple is engaged. Apparently, she found a bottle with a message that washed ashore with a question “Audra Diane Mari, will you marry me?”  The rest is history since she said YES.

Vanessa Villela and Tom Fraud

They shared a photo of them holding a red piece of paper that said, “Will you marry me?” The Selling Sunset star shared such a heartfelt message about Villela’s intended whom she met only a year ago and when she least expected it. She compared their love as love from the movies calling Tom Fraud her prince.

Brad Garrett and IsaBeall Quella

These two met in 2008 at a Boston gallery. Their relationship has been very private; however, they tried to tie the knot four times. It was always canceled due to unforeseen circumstances like mudslides, fires, and pandemic. However, it was revealed in January that they quietly got married in November 2021.

Image courtesy of Laura Grier/ Beautiful Day Photography

Ricki Lake and Ross Burningham

After less than a year together, the couple got engaged in early 2021.  And on January 2 of this year, and they shared photos from their wedding. The bride looked adorable in a yellow kaftan. She had to use a small stool to read her vows to her husband. So cute!

Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of January 17, 2022

Fashion Reverie’s Celebrity Fashion Sightings has returned. After a hiatus of over a month, we are primed and ready to bring our consumers great fashion from some of their favorite celebrities. And though the pickings were quite slim this time around, we did happen to select some interesting fashion.

Lady Gaga is the chameleon of style. From the time she first arrived on the scene, Lady Gaga has consistently caused fashion pulses to beat faster with her ever changing style and charm.

Lady Gaga gave the little black dress a new meaning with the Christian Siriano little black number she wore on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” So modern, and so chic!!

Speaking of black dresses, top model Kaia Gerber looked stylish and chic in a Celine black sequined dress with white collar at an art show opening in Los Angeles. Her mommy (Cindy Crawford) would be so proud!!

The lingerie trend is back, and Hunter Schafer fully embraces this trend is a floral, lingerie-inspired Vera Wang cocktail dress on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Do you like it!!

Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of December 6, 2021

This week’s celebrity fashion sightings took viewers to the red carpet of The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 Women in Entertainment event, “The Tender Bar” premiere, and the “Sing 2” premiere. True to form, Fashion Reverie brings you all the great red-carpet fashion from your favorite celebrities.

Marriage and motherhood does not dim Camila Alves’s beauty. Camila made heads turn at the red-carpet premiere of “Sing 2” in a beige Maria Lucia Hohan ruched gown. The family, including hubby Matthew McConaughy was in attendance on the red carpet. It helps when your husband’s voice is in the film.

When is Jennifer Lopez not a stunning bombshell? Never. J-Lo shows why she always scores on the red carpet in a Grecian-style pale blue Elie Saab gown and Tyler Ellis clutch at the “Tender Bar“ premiere.

Bold-colored pantsuits or trouser suits seem to be all the rage on red carpets. And no one can pull this trend off better than Zendaya. On “Good Morning America,” Zendaya demonstrated that no one does it better in a carnation pink Alexander McQueen trouser suit.

In vibe with Zendaya, Nicole Kidman made an appearance on the “Tonight Show” in a festive, sequined brown Brunello Cucinelli pantsuit.

Olivia Wilde dressed in a yellow Kwaidan Editions suit and a Yuzefi bag to the sustainable dinner celebration with Audi in Venice. See another trouser suit!!

Though not a trouser or pantsuit, Selma Blair looked chic and edgy at the same time in a Thom Browne pinstriped suit at The Hollywood Reporter’s Power 100 Women in Entertainment event. Can anyone say Charlie Chaplin!!

The animated film “Sing 2” is getting great reviews. Scarlett Johansson wore a Makarian floral cocktail dress to the Los Angeles premiere.

Also attending the “Sing 2” Los Angeles premiere was Reese Witherspoon in a Carolina Herrera red and pink checkered sequined dress. By the way, her voice is also in the animated film.

2021 People’s Choice Award Red-Carpet Hits

There is something special about People’s Choice Awards, it is about the people and their choices! The biggest pop culture event was held in Santa Monica and hosted by none other than SNL’s Kenan Thompson.

So, who was the best of the best in 2021? All the athletes, social media stars, comedians were nominees but there were also some special top honorees. Halle Berry, the Icon of 2021 Award, The Rock as People’s Champion Award, Christina Aguilera Music Icon Award, and Kim Kardashian Fashion Icon Award!

So, let’s do what Fashion Reverie loves doing the most, pick our favorite red carpet looks! There were plenty of questionable choices, let’s say housewives might consider stylists but we will focus on the best!

Kim Kardashian

Kim has come a long way! Which only shows that you can work on everything. She wore Balenciaga and looked incredible. It was not particularly innovative, and Fashion Reverie has seen this look before; however, Kim K delivered a great speech.

Kim K impressed many in a jumpsuit with impressive dramatic jewelry and dark sunglasses. Would the look be better without the shades? We will leave it to you to decide; however, what was touching about Kim K’s speech is that she credited Kanye and a few designers for giving her a chance.

Halle Berry

Another jumpsuit, still Halle has her own signature statement in this jumpsuit! She looked fierce and action scene ready in a sequined, fitted Rick Owens metallic piece paired with a perfect pair of Jimmy Choo heels. Red carpet or a James bond movie, Halle always delivers.

 Cardi B

Cardi wore Sol by Irena Soprano and even though this look was some sort of Jessica Rabbit inspiration. That said, she looks great. This sexy look left a great impression. Cardi B looks effortlessly beautiful and confident.

JoJo Siwa

It is interesting to see her slowly grow up. This is a princess-like Jenny Peckham look is a signal that JoJo is ready to reinvent herself. We love seeing her in one shade of light pink, she looks feminine and comfortable in high heels which thus far has been a rare sight.

 Becky G

The Roberto Cavalli dress was a perfect fit for Becky G. We love that she wore a daring yellow which is a perfect choice if done right. Fabric falls amazingly on her body, and the one strap flatters her figure. Whichever pose she took from any angle, Becky G looked fantastic.

 Paris Jackson

Paris Jackson in Vivienne Westwood, what can you say? Well, these two are a match. Paris always goes for that rock star look even when in a gown. We love that it is a fitted dress not a flashy color but with fishnets and platform shoes. Now this is someone with her own style.

Laverne Cox

Laverne Cox is a pro when it comes to working the carpet. She wore a Jean Louis Sabaji purple feathers dress which seems to be quite a popular element besides the jumpsuits trend. What Fashion Reverie especially liked about this look is that Cox matched her hair with the colors of the dress.

Images courtesy of NBCU Universal

Gottmik

Roberto Cavalli still has his recognizable signature look. This is a gown appropriate for the event and looks edgy and chic! Much better than the some of the prom looks other stars on the carpet wore. And this look worked well for Gottmik. Housewives, we are looking at you!
