Marco & Maria Bridal Fall 2025

Since 1990, Spanish designers Marco Marrero and Maria Diaz have dazzled the bridal industry with handcrafted pieces designed with artisanal precision. Over the decades, they have found success in the bridal market, but they only showed one new collection per year during Barcelona Bridal Week in April.

As the brand works on growing its market, it set its sights on New York Bridal Fashion Week. Marco & Maria introduced a special bridal capsule collection for New York Bridal Week featuring six new styles this season. The unreleased capsule collection was shown during New York Bridal Market alongside the brand’s fall 2025 mainline bridal collection, which the public still hadn’t seen.

Titled “Los Paraisos Perdidos,” translating to “The Lost Paradises,” Marco & Maria’s latest mainline collection featured diverse and cultural architectural references and went beyond the traditional white gowns. One standout look, called Aslacia, was a dusty pink tulle embroidered with floral appliqués that gave the illusion of actual floral branches. This was complemented by a look called Australia, an all-black Victorian-era-inspired garment with a dotted sheer bodice, a floral embroidered skirt, and a nude tulle underlining.

Of their more traditional bridal styles from the New York capsule, there was Bora Bora, named after the island in French Polynesia. Silhouette-wise, it was a classic white gown with a simple train, but upon closer inspection, the gown featured 3-D floral appliqués on the bodice and came with detachable balloon shoulder sleeves.

3D appliqués were a dominant detail in the New York capsule collection, as they were also featured in tulle on the bodice of Cerdeña, another classic tulle white gown named after the Spanish word for Sardinia, the acclaimed Mediterranean island travel destination. Between the mainline collection and the New York capsule, Marco & Maria played with volume, from layers of tulle to exaggerated sleeves, all while maintaining the more romantic details, such as lingerie-inspired lace details and jeweled necklines.

While Marco & Maria work on targeting other markets outside of their home of Spain, the destination wedding customer is who they are aiming for. They are after the brides who are women of the world, aren’t afraid to splurge, and love opulence. Some of them might be couture customers themselves; therefore, they want a wedding dress reflecting that comparative level of artisanal detail.
