Isn’t it special to be part of the “in” crowd and attend fashion shows around the world, rub shoulders with famous people, and get styled by respected designers? Lots of folks would love to be part of the fashion elite and some folks just might get to be a part of this exclusive group in the future. Remember, just as fashion is constantly changing, so is fashion’s front row royalty!!Today, it is easy to find inspiration via social media, as well as follow lives of well-known editors and front row veterans. As the rumors of Anna Wintour retiring from American Vogue seems to be coming true, front row royalty is now composed of some seasoned veterans, as well as some more recent industry professionals getting more traction.

Carine RoitfeldCarine Rotifeld is timeless. Once a fashion model, writer, and former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, Roitfeld is now founder and editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book. Carine Roitfeld rocks the smoky eye, sheer shirts, and pencil skirts.

Edward EnninfulAlmost always in black or white, this British fashion stylist and fashion director is best known as the editor-in-chief of British Vogue, a first for a black man. Edward can often be seen with his besties, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell. You’ve come a long way baby from your time at i-D magazine, Vogue Italia, American Vogue, and W magazine!! Move over, Andre!

Anna Dello Russo Anna Dello Russo is the ultimate gatekeeper of style! Not afraid to push the limits, this fashion journalist can often be seen in her beautiful home in Puglia, which she proudly shares on her social media. She is the creative consultant and editor-at-large of Vogue Japan.

Rossy de PalmaKnown for her eclectic, personal style and often seen in black, Rossy is an actress, but also a fashion icon. Famed Spanish film director Pedro Almodovar first discovered Rossy de Palma in a café in Madrid. She has modeled for Jean-Paul Gaultier, Thierry Mugler, and Sybilla. Today we see her in the front row during Paris Fashion Weekend in series of fun Jean Pod advertising videos.

Ken DowningWhat would this list be without Ken Downing? As the Senior Vice President and Fashion Director of Neiman Marcus, Ken Downing is a well-known presence at New York Fashion Week: The Shows, New York Fashion Week: Men’s and fashion weeks around the world.

As a board member of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund and the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation, a nod from Downing means a lot. Downing is easily recognizable with his asymmetrical blonde bobs and skinny jeans.
