Mr. Burberry Indigo is a clean and crisp scent, inspired by the fresh sea breeze along the English coastline. The energetic citrus top notes of lemon awaken the senses, while the violet and minty mid notes offer a steady, tranquil balance. As the fragrance wears on, the bottom woody notes add depth of character that can be described only as refined and oh so British.Head notes: lemon, rosemary

Heart notes: violet, mint

Base notes: oakmoss, amber

Acqua Di Gio Absolu by Giorgio Armani is the perfect way to end the summer. This scent exemplifies the transition from summer walks by the lake to autumn evenings by the campfire. Absolu is not about city life; it is about nature and captures the alliance between water and wood. The patchouli heart note balances the aquatic top notes and woody base, thereby creating a most manly and outdoorsy fragrance. Absolu may appeal to some city folk, but it calls out to the mountain man in all of us.Head notes: fruit, bergamot, sea notes

Heart notes: patchouli, geranium, lavender, rosemary

Base notes: wood, labdanum, tonka bean

Maison Margiela Replica — Sailing Day takes you not only on a trip across the current-day Aegean; it also takes you on a trip back in time to days of the ancient Athenians. Inspired by Paros Island, Greece, this fragrance is subtly floral, airy, and a little musky. Sailing Day is light, but it is can also be complex. The spicy aquatic top notes form a mental image of relaxing on the deck of a drifting sailboat. Juxtaposing the fresh above-water top notes are the briny below—water base notes of seaweed and ambergris. This is the scent of a true seafaring explorer.Head notes: aquatic accord, juniper, red pepper, aldehydes

Heart notes: iris, coriander, rose, amyl salicylate

Base notes: seaweed, ambergris, amberwood, cedar

Yves Saint Laurent Y is not a typical aquatic scent. Unlike the other fragrances on this list, Y is not necessarily made to evoke aquatic themes. This is not your go-to scent for yachting; however, it is perfect for sunset beach bonfires. It is inspired by the iconic Yves Saint Laurent white t-shirt and black jacket, and represents a balance between freshness and strength. Like putting on a new crisp white tee shirt at the end of the day, notes of bergamot, sage, and ginger offer a sharp freshness as you revel with your friends in the twilight. At its base, soft notes of balsam fir, cedarwood, and marine ambergris embody the subtle power of a tailored black jacket that protects you from the night air. YSL Y is the fragrance that truly takes you from dusk til dawn.Head notes: white aldehydes, bergamot, ginger

Heart notes: sage, geranium absolute, violet leaf

Base notes: ambergris, incense, fir balsam, cedar, musk
