Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of October 2, 2017

Though temperatures are starting to cool off—not necessarily on the East Coast—celebrity red carpet fashion is not cooling off. And Fashion Reverie is in the know, bringing all the fantastic looks from red carpets, film premieres, and launches

This week’s celebrity is mostly about the color black. From appearances on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to red carpets across the Big Pond to show street fashion in New York City, there was a whole lot of black going on!!

There hasn’t been a lot of good news about Mary J. Blige since she announced her divorce proceedings earlier in the summer. That said; Mary J. demonstrated that she is letting no grass grow under her feet by turning it out and giving a real diva moment and the “Mudbound” premiere at the 61st BFI London Film Festival.Mary J. Bige was attired in an Elizabeth Kennedy Resort 2018 black fitted bow neck gown with Dennis Basso fur coat. She beautifully accessorized Le Vian diamond earrings, a DVANI onyx and black diamond ring, and a Maxior onyx.

In this final season of “Scandal,” Kerry Washington is not slowing down, still keeping everything fresh and fashionable. On her way to her appearance of “GMA,” Washington stopped traffic in a black and white plaid mini dress with red leather, thigh-high Stuart Weitzman boots. Washington was accessorized with Borgioni diamond double spike drop earrings.

Black is the new black; well at least it is for Demi Lovato. Lovato donned a black and white striped Styland suit paired with Mattia Cielo diamond hoops, and a Pasquale Bruni diamond ring to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

Elizabeth Hurley may not be wearing black, but she definitely pretty in pink. Hurley looked great in a Styland suit while promoting Breast Cancer Awareness with Estee Lauder in Los Angeles.

“Birdman’s” Andrea Riseborough showed that short hair works for her at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Women In Film Lunch in Missoni.

Rosario Dawson wore a Maria Lucia Hohan dress to the Museum of Artemis: Life on the Moon event in New York City. Talk about celestial beings!!

Last, but not least, Alessandra Ambrosio was elegant and chic in a Rasario black sequin, one-shoulder gown, accessorized with a Gilan black rhodium and diamond bracelets to the 13th Zurich Film Festival ‘Dyson’ premiere.
