Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of August 21, 2017

It’s all about the jewels in this week’s Celebrity Fashion Sightings. Though most of the looks this week are from MTV’s 2017 Video Music Awards (VMAs), there is a lot of variety in terms of style and fashion. Enjoy!!

Katy Perry hosted the 2017 VMAs and had several costume changes. One of the most interesting stage outfits was Perry in a basketball-inspired bustier, layered over a white dress, accessorized in Hearts on Fire diamond bracelets. Perry closed out the show in this stage outfit, singing her hit “Swish, Swish.” Does anyone remember Kurtis Blow’s 80s hit “Basketball.” Oops are we dating ourselves.

No one does red carpet androgyny better than Pink. At the VMA’s Pink opted to match her husband and baby girl in a pinstriped three-piece suit, nicely accessorized with Le Vian diamond brooch.

Nicki Minaj looked Playboy kittenish in a pink Latex jumpsuit, expensively accessorized Djula diamond rings and choker [priced at $226,000], and Harry Kotlar diamond rings worth over $500,000. Diamonds are this girl’s bestfriend. Amanda Lepore, eat your heart out!

Green looks good on Serayah. Girlfriend is working the sequined slacks, though the off-the-shoulder crop top blouse looks a little like a garbage bag. Serayah wore a Maxior diamond cross necklace to the VMA’s after party.

Bringing up the rear, Amber Rose flaunted her new look on the 2017 VMA red carpet. She was almost unrecognizable with her new coif. Amber really showed off her curves and almost everything else in a Yousef Aljsami dress, and Heart on Fire rings and Butani earrings.
