Fashion and fighting

German fashion designer Philip Plein debuts his capsule collection collaboration with Floyd Mayweather during Mayweather’s “Fight of the 21st Century” with Conor McGregor on August 26. This one-of-a-kind match with Floyd Mayweather and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion Conor McGregor marks Mayweather’s 50th bout. Mayweather will enter the ring wearing a custom-design boxing robe and trunks designed by Plein.  Philip Plein will dress Mayweather’s entire team for the “Fight of the 21st Century.”

Philip Plein has designed for Mayweather in the past, most recently when the duo walked arm in arm down the red carpet during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival with Mayweather wearing a white leather jacket embellished with graphics of colorful dollar bills and butterflies. “I am happy to collaborate with Philipp Plein, he is unique in the fashion world. Like me he works and plays hard, lives the dream, and demands the best,” commented Mayweather.

“I applaud Floyd’s winning spirit and have been intrigued by the idea of collaborating together since he joined me on the runway to present my spring/summer 2018 resort fashion show last May. His fashion sense and fearless attitude perfectly match the Philipp Plein mood and lifestyle. I am excited to see what we will work up together,” explained Plein in a fashionnetwork .com article.

The capsule collection will be available online on Plein.com and the Philip Plein boutique in Las Vegas.
