New York Fashion Week: Men’s Spring 2019 Editors’ Essentials

New York Fashion Week: Men’s (NYFWM) spring 2019 season is just around the corner, and that means fashion editors and industry professionals will be scurrying from menswear show to menswear presentation over a three-day period. It might just be a three-day fete, but that doesn’t mean industry professionals should look less than their Fashion Week best. Fashion Reverie has assembled some key essentials that every industry professional can use through a hectic fashion week.

Paul Mitchell Construction Paste

It might be close to a hundred degrees outside, but that doesn’t mean humidity should get the best of your hair. Paul Mitchell Construction Paste will help you keep those tasseled locks in place while you are running to shows in the middle of this New York summer heat. Don’t let your hairdo be a dippity don’t.

Snow Fox Arctic Breeze Detox Mask

Don’t allow stress, sweat, and bad eating ruin your pores. The new Snow Fox Skincare collection is a 3-step regimen that will leave your skin looking and feeling flawless. Soul Artist Management and IMG models shouldn’t be the only pretty boys strolling the streets during NYFWM.

Gucci Bee Star Leather Tote

Gucci is still one of the “It” popular brands, and this bee star leather tote is a tribute to the company’s historic symbol dating back to the1980s. While we have all seen the Gucci sneakers and the fur trim loafers, be the one to stand out with this statement piece that most fashionista haven’t got their hands on yet.

Lepow Portable Charger

We have all been there. It’s the end of the day, probably our last fashion show, and our phone is on 1 percent or one bar of life left. Stay charged up, literally, with the Lepow Portable Charger. The Lepow Portable Charger is both a sleek design, and a quick charge for your phone or tablet. Stay connected just by plugging in.

Power Crunch Protein Energy Bar

Speaking of staying charged, if you have a packed schedule, as is the case for most industry professional, chances are you barely have very little time to fuel your body. Before you pass out at your 3 o’clock fashion show, grab a power crunch energy protein bar to keep that blood sugar up.

Lab Series Max LS Power V Instant Eye Lift

Age is nothing but a number, especially with all current beauty products on the market. Say bye bye to bags under your eyes with Lab Series Max LS Power V Instant Eye Lift. Even if you are running on very little sleep due to fashion slow overload and writing fashion show reviews, your eyes don’t have to reflect your fatigue. You can still look bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Good Day Dark Chocolate Energy Supplement

Don’t let your energy supplements stop with the protein bars alone. Good Day Dark Chocolate is the ultimate sweet snack at a moments notice to keep you going. Good Day will keep you energized throughout the day, even giving you that energy boost through NYFWM after parties.

Trendy, Quirky Bags for Summer 2018 Festival Season

As the summer craze begins to take over, we find ourselves weaving in and out of festival foot traffic. Shine all summer, as you put to rest your overworked winter visage. Whether you’re going to your fave concert, attending a local carnival, or taking a much needed flashy trip to the Bahama, take time off with Fashion Reverie’s list of summer festival bags. This summer be more innovative and reinvent your stereotypical handbag. As the perfect vacation accessory, Fashion Reverie looks to changes and trends in summer handbags. Oscar de la Renta, Burberry, Jeremy Scott ,and Fendi are just a few designers that are offering quirky insane looks for a more fresh outlook. The biggest trend thus far is retro logo tagging, found all over runways and branded clothing. “Mix casual and classic pieces … add a little bit of edge to a classic look”, said Tiffany Groh Cummins, Fashion, Film and Lifestyle publicist at TRC & Associates. No matter the trend, you shall be deemed most fashionable this season.

Designers crave adoration from consumers. What better way to show them love than with a nostalgic logo bag.? Fendi, Dior, and Gucci are a few designers taking us back to a retro era with their interpretation of monogram logos. Designer tagging is definitely on trend. “If done tastefully [logo tagging] will be the primary way that your popularity grows. The younger generation [is] a little detached from luxury brands … it’s [these] minute splash accessories for street wear that says ‘I’m not trying too hard,” explains Cummins.

Images clockwise of Chanel, Chanel, Martin Margiela, Valentino, and Emporio Armani bags courtesy of vogue.com

Expose your goodies, in this see-through clear PVC bag that has a fun sporty aesthetic. Take this on-the-go accessory as you head to the beach, weekend trip, or hanging out at a street vendor festival. Be sure to choose wisely as this see-me-not trend is more about what you carry than what you’re carrying. If you have a love for fun-printed pouches, try pairing this trend with colorful pastel wallets or dainty coin purses for a layering visual effect.

Images clockwise Giambattista Valli, Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Jacquemus, Marc Jacobs, and Creatures of the Wind bags courtesy of vogue.com

First came the classic fanny pack, called marsupial bags in Europe. But, now it’s all about the itty bitty belt bags. Update this classic trend as fanny pack silhouettes have taken a super micro approach. Deemed high fashion, these tiny totes are here for a bold statement. “[This] fashion statement and trend is easy to carry, and holds all the essentials,” said Cummins.

Images clockwise of TIBI, Louis Vuitton, Martin Margiela, Moschino, MSGM, and Fenty bags courtesy of vogue.com

Backpacks are still in and are here to stay. This quick and easy accessory is perfect as you look for adventures at summer’s music and film festivals. Double the size, as this accessory goes from your scheduled routine to the perfect travel bag as you head cross country for a memorable music or film festival.

Images clockwise of Altazurra, Christian Dior, Fendi, Christian Dior, Roksanda, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana bags courtesy of vogue.com

It’s all about the hoop handles, whether it’s for minimal function or an unconventional art-inspired way. Take your pick of this trend; as there are various blends, fabrications, and manipulations to have you stand out from the madding crowd.
