Celebrity Fashion Sightings: Week of December 12, 2016

Even though we are in the short stretch toward one of the most important holidays of the year, there is no shortage of celebrities donning fabulous clothes on the last red carpets of the 2016. This week’s Celebrity Fashion Sightings takes our viewers from the New York red carpet premiere of “Fences” to the Los Angeles premiere of “Why Him” to appearances on “Ellen Degeneres.” All looks are individual but still very much on trend.

It is amazing how Viola Davis can go from portraying deeply nuanced characters whose fashion choices go from the mundane to dowdy to being the epitome of sophisticated glam on the red carpet. This is a true testament to her incredible acting skills.

Viola Davis is so chic in a Cinq a Sept gown, perfectly accessorized in Hueb yellow sapphire earrings and a Pasquale Bruni rose gold wrap bracelet at the New York special screening of “Fences.” The only thing left now is to pick up the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress!!

Laverne Cox could start a separate career just from her red-carpet appearances, slaying on every occasion. Laverne Cox was the epitome of chicness and sophistication in a form-fitting black and white gown with tan highlights at the 1st Annual Marie Claire Young Women’s Honors at Marina del Rey Marriott. And the accessories of Hueb diamond earrings and bracelet, and a Le Vian diamond ring also did Laverne Cox well.
